Maybe too much information, but the Dsquared2 party was held at the home of none other than the director of the movie 2012. Small world???? Adam and Roland Emmerich (director of "2012" and "Stargate" as in my old avi) are friends. Roland Emmerich is a major supporter of LGBT artists and particularly of preservation of gay and lesbian film productions. Adam attends so many openings ,etc.. He must get paid right??? How does he do this almost every night he is somewhere birthday parties concerts,plays.. Ahhh sweet youth.. I'm exhausted just watching  Some are paid appearances, some are not. And it is almost impossible to know which are which because Adam does not just endorse things for the money -- but things/causes/people he supports. He also donates some of his appearances. |

Anyone know if the party at Dsquared2 was invite only. Seems like it might be. If so, would this be like a "paid" appearance for Adam. He is shooting up the hot celebrity list everyday and in the entertainment business, paid appearances seem to be considered part of the work. Just curious. I think there was a similar discussion quite some time ago as to whether or not Adam was receiving compensation for some club appearances. BBL - lots of stuff on the plate today. It was invitation only. My guess is this was a networking/PR opportunity and not paid. Plus Adam is friends with Dan and Dean Caten -- the designers of DSquared2. They have been at many events together including the Halloween party on Saturday. |

Just wondering if any of our LA people... mys*&@^#r...lelemaple, etc... are planning on going to Dr Brian May's book signing at The Book Soup on Sunset on Nov 6th at 4pm ?(2 days after the Rock Awards) If I lived there, I would love to say Hi and get his book signed.
