The more intriguing story if the guitar travel story is accurate and timely is that Brian played neither the red special nor his Tradional tour backup Fryer guitar.
Does anyone know for certain what song was played at the end of the awards show?
He was playing a Guild.

Well I certainly didn't know there was a guitar tech traveling with him until we heard about the guitar situation. So on that note. I don't think I will comment on anything else because I am getting the distinct feeling of constant correction. So shame on me for saying a damn thing! I like it when posters ask questions, or simply wonder about things. Please don't stop. |

Totally OT except that it was mentioned in one of Q3's posts on LZ. It's a small world. As a teenager, I discovered an album in a discount bin. A brilliant composer/poet/folk/pre-acid rock singer named Jake Holmes. On the album is "Dazed and Confused" (recorded several years before LZ "wrote" it). It only took over 40 years for him to get credit for the song. Many of you know his works composed to pay the rent. He was a prolific jingle writer for ads. Remember "Be all that you can be in the army", "I'm a Pepper, you're a Pepper... wouldn't you like to be a pepper too?" "Come see the softer side of Sears", "Raise your hand if your Sure"? Yup, that's him. He also was part of a comedy team with a very young Joan Rivers. Now in his 70s, he still occasionally appears in clubs. National Weather Service
The first MAJOR winter storm of the year is headed our way, prompting the National Weather Service to issue a Winter Storm Warning for both central and southern Minnesota starting at 3 am Monday through 12 pm on Tuesday. We’re looking at a possible 14 inches of heavy, wet snow with strong winds, which will make travel hazardous throughout the area. YEP!! It's gonna hit us here in Wisconsin too. Not ready!  Its nice here in the Twin Cities today- I can't believe we are getting 6+ inches of snow tomorrow. TOO soon! I am glad I have the day off to shovel. I bought a tin of Starbucks dark chocolate salted caramel cocoa mix. |

Wow, I missed a lot today so far. I just got home from a 5k run/walk for ovarian cancer sponsored by my employer. It was 5,500 runners and walkers; a lot of people! Personally, Led Zeppelin is a great band and I like a few songs a lot but otherwise, not entirely my cup of tea. I always got the impression of major arrogance from both Plant and Page, but correct me if I'm wrong on that.
