Does anyone know if Robert Plant or any of Led Zeppelin ever said anything about Adam's WLL?

There is no band I more want to see live (including Queen + Adam Lambert). And it might happen, but right now they Jimmy Page and Robert Plant seem to be "feuding" over the reunion idea via the press. ...... deleted by Q3 to make the post short. Maybe they should hire this guy named Adam Lambert. He's good at this sort of thing They don't need to hire Adam, Jimmy Page just needs to give Robert Plant a lot of creative control and based on history that is not likely to happen. Unless it does, no tour. I love Adam (clearly) but he is not a blues singer. He has one credible blues performance -- Winstar "Red House" 12/31/13 -- and to enjoy that I have to not listen to the guitar. [TJ playing Hendrix is too much for me.] Would hearing Adam do LZ music be cool, sure. But it would be Adamized like his WWL and that would not be LZ. And if it was like LZ/Plant did it, it would not be Adam. I think Q+AL is enough for me. I want new music. Bring on A3.

Brian wasn't scheduled to play at awards..so I doubt if awards show paid his way why would they think about guitar? J/s Brian played in the very last performance, a group number. Plus they would want to have all the winners there since it is to be broadcast on TV.

Does anyone know if Robert Plant or any of Led Zeppelin ever said anything about Adam's WLL? Not that I ever saw. Apparently Jimmy Page cleared the use of WLL for Idol but this has never been confirmed. Since sales of the LZ version went way up after Adam's performance, their publisher has cleared subsequent LZ usage. *** Thinking about WLL reminded me of this Monte Pittman interview about Adam and WWL: I can't think of any other vocalist who could be discussed as being frontman for Queen and LZ in the same interview and the discussion would be sensible. Pretty amazing.

Brian wasn't scheduled to play at awards..so I doubt if awards show paid his way why would they think about guitar? J/s Brian played in the very last performance, a group number. Plus they would want to have all the winners there since it is to be broadcast on TV. Brian was there to present the award to Joe Perry and they planned to perform a song written by Brian May ("Tie Your Mother Down") for the finale. Brian May, introducing the Maestro Award: "I am so happy to be part of this club who made what we call Classic Rock. Back in the day it's just what we did. I am honoured to present this because of the guy who he is. I met this man in 1974 and for the first — and last — time in my career I went on and was incapable of performing as I'd been drinking with Joe Perry. He puts his anger and pain in his playing." Joe Perry: 'I want to thank Classic Rock for bringing this here. Another British Invasion. I'm a player and I like letting the music do the talking. Honoured to get it.' *** Note: Brian is referring to the May 1, 1974 Harrisburg Mott the Hoople concert with three opening acts -- a local Harrisburg band I do not remember who they were, Queen, Aerosmith and Mott the Hoople. It was my first Queen concert and they were terrible. There are stories that Brian and Joe Perry split a bottle of Jack Daniels backstage as their managers fought about who who would go on first, Queen lost. I think this is the first time Brian confirmed he was too drunk to play -- although fans have speculated, and crew member have said so, and other people who were on stage said so. Thankfully, I was enough of a MTH fan to go see them a few days later again and saw Queen with a functioning lead guitarist. *** Regarding the Red Special needing a ticket. First class cabins on most international flights have a special in-cabin closet that will hold a guitar case. Some current configurations do not hold a guitar case OR it might have already been full. This may have just been a problem with that. (Upright basses and cellos do not fit. Electric guitars do.) When this is full, the guitar has to go to the cargo hold.

I need help!!! I want to order a customized cover form my Kindle Fire HDX 7" tablet. Of course I would love a Q+AL or AL picture, but am having trouble finding one in a high enough resolution. It needs to be around 2500 X 3500 pixels or more. A fan art picture would work also. Any suggestions???
