I was pleasantly surprised this morning by the New Years Eve announcement.......I did not think the news would be about A3 simply because that announcement would not be made while Adam was in England and also the timing was wrong. I totally agree the more high profile gigs Adam's is involved and the more exposure he receives the better situated he will be when the time finally comes. I also think that A3 will be more Rock influenced than Pop oriented even with Max Martin as one of the producers.
With all due respect........I really do love and appreciate both Brian and Roger does anyone else feel that the main attraction has become Adam? Adam seems to have taken over centre stage.....literally. BTW I felt that it was totally disrespectful not to ask Roger a question last night.
Finally, I hope the guys do an Elvis cover and maybe an Adam song or two on NYE.

Rama, you are absolutely right that last night's tweets were about A3! Also finally putting a header on his Twitter is heralding in A3! I am positive!

Adam Lambert Looks for ‘Somebody to Love’ With Queen on ‘X Factor UK’Adam Lambert and Queen have been touring the world since June, but before they head off to Europe in January, the dynamic duo stopped by The X Factor UK over the weekend to perform the band’s 1976 classic, “Somebody to Love.” Clad in a shiny animal-print blazer, the American Idol alum completely slayed the song … as he does pretty much every time he takes the stage with the classic band. “Had a great time singing w @queenwillrock on@thexfactor tonight!” Adam captioned an Instagram photo (above) from the performance. “Thanks for the warm welcome London!” But the band will soon be back in the UK. It was announced on Monday that they will be ringing in 2015 on a stage near London’s Big Ben for BBC One. “Words can’t describe how excited I am, we are going to kick off 2015 in style!” Adam said in the press release. - See more at: www.ryanseacrest.com/2014/12/01/adam-lambert-looks-for-somebody-to-love-with-queen-on-x-factor-uk/?utm_campaign=tweets&utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitter#sthash.5ekC7d4g.dpuf

I think Adam is with a very smart management team. I don't believe they are keeping us in the dark for no reason. I expect a very strategic roll out. I don't think it would be smart to leak things to make fans happy if it messes up their overall plan. It seems to me one strategy has been to get Adam as much exposure as possible to non Glamberts. We'll be here anyway even though we are kept in the dark. I still think last nights tweets were related to A3. He is telling us things with out spoiling any roll out plan. That's comforting (I mean it, I'm not being ironic). I never let myself get too worked up for fear of being too disappointed afterwards. But I guess last night it crept on me when I didn't notice - the high from his performance, then Shosh saying there are more news ahead, then maybe I got infected by some people thinking that Adam tweeting "it's all in my head" means A3 era has begun . I mean maybe they're right or maybe they're wrong, I don't know. Nobody knows except for Adam, so he's not really telling us anything, is he? IDK, both he and Shosh have always been very clever about letting us know stuff yet keeping it away from the press. They could do something if they wanted to. Actually, I believe it has begun. And I believe those are lyrics. In any They will first ramp up Adam's presence in the media and, more importantly, online. He needs a higher profile, and he needs streaming media plays. We seek out Adam news and info -- but for the vast majority of people Adam is below the radar. On Trespassing, it started 10 months before the album was released and was IMO too long. [OOL premiere performance on July 29, 2011. And Adam was talking about the album for well over a year before it came out.] Adam's management is very sharp. *** Regarding Adam's tweets and IGs -- I am not sure he is telling us anything. Those looks like lyrics to me but you are right, apparently only Adam knows. And I expect he will reveal it in time. *** It would be odd for Adam to "release" any music before he wraps up the Q+AL UK-Europe Tour. But it would not be odd for his team to start promotion in January leveraging the press from the tour to pre-promote his album and solo music. I was always disappointed that Adam was not able to break into the UK market. It is very hard for an American artist to get into the UK market but success there can often lead to success in Europe and the US. Q+AL gives Adam a shot at becoming well known in the UK and this NYE special is huge and likely to have an impact. You know he will be awesome, and the combination of something new and exciting (Adam) with a UK icon (Queen) will be very press-worthy.

Finally, I hope the guys do an Elvis cover and maybe an Adam song or two on NYE. I too thought something wasn't quite on par last night. The performance was great, I've watched it probably 7+ times. Vocals and timing as excellent as usual. For me, it was the transference from concert stage to TV stage. Adam tends to be bigger than life when he is on stage. I felt like he was conscious of where he was on the stage because he could roam like he normally would or do what he normally would do on the big stage. In the short time they had, I think it was tough to highlight Brian and Roger doing what they do best. Plus, I wonder if he still feels like he has something to prove in the UK? I didn't get the sense he was as free flowing as he is in concert...

I do think that Adam feels like he has something to prove and he definitely succeeded if that was his intent, even if it was specifically for Simon Cowell. With respect to Brian and Roger, I hated that they didn't ask Roger a question but I do think that they got their fair share of camera shots. I didn't expect any more than that. Frankly, they know Adam is their bread and butter and their vehicle, and without him, they wouldn't be able to perform at this caliber in 2014-2015. It's all good in my book. He deserves the accolades that he's getting at this stage of his career. I also think that his stage movement was limited due to logistics and the other contestants, but he did the best with what he had. No complaints or criticisms from this Queenie!

Gabriella I agree with you, as I posted last night, that I thought it was disrespectful to Roger not to acknowledge him and ask him a question too.

Finally, I hope the guys do an Elvis cover and maybe an Adam song or two on NYE. I agree with most of this.... Except I think that A3 will be modern pop -- no more rock than Lorde or Adele. If anything, I think A3 will have more R&B and Funk influences vs. Rock. He has been moving more to R&B for a few years. In the second half of 2013, Adam started to do so many blues riffs. And his STL vocal during the 2014 Q+AL Tour and even more so last night was a "Miss Thang" performance. Of course the line between R&B and Rock is pretty fuzzy -- most of Led Zeppelin's catalog is heavy metal covers of blues songs. In any case, last night's performance was spectacular -- and as good as anything he has ever done. I can't believe we will also get 2 hours of live stream Q+AL New Years! ETA: I was also sad that they did not talk to Roger but that happened all the time. Freddie and Brian would speak for the band or just Freddie. Post Freddie, it was often just Brian. During the Q+PR era, it was often Paul and Brian. I think Roger is OK with it -- he really seems to be a very balanced person who does not need constant attention.
