One of my all time fav Queen sites...although the owner does hate Adam lol...He was very slow to update the QAL stuff before...he is going to go to a few of the European gigs despite his dislike of Adam so maybe it'll change his mind - though I doubt it. The Real Wizard is a friend of mine...he is EXTREMELY knowledgeable...He actually doesn't really like Adam too much either BUT I look to him as an example of how an anti-Adam Queen fan should act. He is very graceful....He did enjoy the gig he saw...

I'm subtle too! Hardly anyone in my life knows I'm an Adam fan. ( for anyone here who doesn't "know" me) LOL, I guess you don't let any of your RL peeps in your house

If I felt that way I would not spend my money. I would just listen to my cd's. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Cecy @cecycat1 14m14 minutes ago Adam Lambert & Queen Perform ‘Somebody To Love’ On ‘X Factor’ Via Hollywood Life Excuse us while we pick our jaws... fb.me/70vacBkgE
Excuse us while we pick our jaws up off the floor. Adam and Queen received a standing ovation from Simon Cowell after their heart-stopping performance on ‘The X Factor.’ Watch it here! Any diehard American Idol fan knows that Adam Lambert can belt out any tune he crosses paths with, but he still managed to excite us when he performed “Somebody To Love” with Queen on the U.K. version of The X Factor! Adam Lambert & Queen’s ‘X Factor’ Performance Of ‘Somebody To Love’ Queen performed their iconic hit with current frontman, Adam Lambert, handling the vocals, in front of a packed crowd, including judges Simon Cowell and former Spice Girls member Mel B. Adam hit all of Freddie Mercury‘s notes with precision, while adding his own unique touch that made us fall in love with him when he competed on Idol in 2009. And towards the end of the performance, the X Factor contestants joined Adam and Queen on stage to sing the “Find me somebody to love” bridge before Adam slayed the rest. Adam Lambert Makes Simon Cowell Proud Idol fans know how tough of a judge Simon is, so for him to give Adam and Queen a standing ovation just goes to show how amazing their performance was! Simon must be so proud to be able to say he helped boost Adam to superstardom. Adam famously was named the runner-up during season 8 of Idol. Kris Allen came out the victor that year. What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Was this Adam’s best performance ever? Tell us how you feel!

The same way I can't help but hear deficiencies in anyone singing Adam's songs. Once you are imprinted on one voice it is almost impossible to appreciate anything else. And these people ARE imprinted on Freddie. (Heck, I prefer Adam's delivery of Queen songs to Freddie's and IMO it is not because Adam's delivery is "better" but because that's how I discovered them and anything else sounds "wrong" now. Freddie's voice included. Same goes for ANY SONG he covered, be it LedZep, Rihanna, etc. Shoot me. The rest of "fan" behavior depends on their agenda and self awareness... both sides included. All fun really!

I have taken many 'new' people to Adam and to Q+AL concerts. They have all enjoyed the show. I just do not expect everyone/anyone to see Adam live and turn into an insane Adam fan like me. And I make sure to only involved my husband in some of my insanity! I wish I could have a do-over with my husband... I would have not let on the extent of my interest. My only hope is that Adam has a song that makes it big and that my husband realizes he likes it before he realizes it's Adam. I do have one friend who likes Adam and I can talk about him with her, though I'm careful not to overdo it. I used to put Adam's performances, just a few, on FB, but that met with a resounding silence. Oh well! Oh, I am very careful to limit my husbands exposure to Adam. He is not coming aboard the Adam train, so I think it is better to hold back a bit. I did get caught out the other day when my youngest little one grabbed my iPad and discovered a secret treasure trove of Adam pictures. Let's call them hat and chest porn. My husband was sitting right next to him, he must've seen, but didn't really react. Csquared, I hope that your husband will come around a bit. One more reason that it would be a good idea that Adam has a big hit. And thank you blaky, Q3 and others for pointing out that my husband might actually like the show. I promise to tell you about it afterwards!
