To those of you preemptively crying about a duet, I skimmed last years show and would like to make the following points: 1) It's HER show, and she performs with all of her guests. 2) She is an extremely talented lady. 3) Adam will probably get all of his glory notes. The whole point of the performance is to sell him to the German audience, after all. 4) This clearly won't be an unrehearsed mess like the Lady Gaga duet. 5) Why not have something different for a change? We already have over 30 versions of WWTLF. We will be getting 20+ more. 6) A lot of last year's guests performed multiple times - one song solo, another song with Helene. That might be true again. We'll see. So long story short, chill out, relax, and put the claws away.

Oh! I searched a bit for information about this guy that was talking with Brian on twitter (Sikke van der Veen). He is a Dutch Queen superfan, and made a documentary about the success of Queen in the Netherlands. One of our biggest radio stations interviewed him when the January concert was announced. www.radio2.nl/nieuws/id-5827-queen-komt-naar-nederland.htmlAnd since it is in Dutch, I'll translate a few of his quotes about Adam "I think they have chosen the right person to replace Freddie Mercury" "This is so much better than everything they tried before (e.g. Paul Rodgers)" "I have been lucky enough to see all shows in 2012, and he is just a very young copy of ... well, you don't get any closer than this" Then they play a snippet of WWFM, talk a bit about the show (big production), a bit about his documentary (unique footage) and he says people can expect a show like how it was with Freddie, but with a younger singer. I like this guy
Thanks Nic42 that was really sweet :-) Well add me to your facebook or meet me at the Ziggodome.
