My definition of Best really means personal Favourite, not necessarily technically best. So my favourites are as follows:
Recording: Shady. That song pushes all my musical buttons. And it's just so perfectly Adam.
Cover: I just love you. No one ever mentions this song, and I have no idea if it's a great vocal from him or merely a good one, but it's still absolutely my fave cover. Love it, love his voice on it
Fashion statement: oh my god, how can you choose???? I'll need to think about that for a while.
Live performance. St agathe outlaws of love. One of only two times I've ever seen Adam live, & it was so special.
QAL song: Stone cold crazy. I just love the cadence & the attitude. Even if there's not much for him to work with vocally.

OK..more obscure choices maybe
Best recorded song: Feelin' Good Idol (So many vocal hues in that recording)
Best Queen Cover: WWTLF iHeart (This performance cemented Adam as a member of Queen IMO) Also the look on Brian May's face of pure bliss before the end phrase.
Best Concert Performance Song: Shady AFTEE (Adam was dancing so fine and had that hot jacket/scarf ensemble we are seeing tonite on the thread). Fun performance with Nile. Sam was a mess but adorkable.
Best Cover Performance: AYGGMW with Aurea Shanghai? (one where he kneels at her feet) Adam was rocking!
Best Fashion Statement: Miami Pap fight with the straw hat, striped tank and the aqua board shorts. (Best celeb pap take-down evah)
Funniest Adam: Losing his sole on his python boots and making Muppet talk..lol..
Sexiest Adam: Honest, the night he took Sauli's hand in his at the Idol Red Carpet. Huge statement, bold and dear. Man can't get any sexier than that to acknowledge his partner so respectfully.
ETA: Agree with Avari..personal choices and moments. There are so many more I couldn't post. Tough to choose with 5 years of 'best'.

Do you have a recommendation for wireless over ear headphones? I wear noise cancelling headphones at work due to the loud force dryer I use to dry the dogs. I'd love to be able to listen to music but need wireless and full covering of the ears. There are several types of wireless technologies available. So I need to know what specific devices you want to use the wireless headphones with in order to make a recommendation. Do you what ones with a microphone for making calls? Also, what price range are you looking for? The current most popular wireless technology for audio is Bluetooth. Almost all smartphones & tablets have Bluetooth. The ipod touch, ipod nano gen 7 (gen 6 & earlier do not have), & some mp3 players have Bluetooth. (The Bluetooth on computers is usually just for connecting to wireless keyboards & mice, but some are starting to have Bluetooth that connects to headphones.) With Bluetooth, the audio is compressed for transmission and then uncompressed at the receiving end. This results in some loss of audio quality compared to wired headphones. But the convenience is often worth it. An older wireless audio technology is RF (Radio Frequency) which uses standard radio frequencies. (Bluetooth uses ultra high frequency radio waves in the 2.4-2.5 GHz range.) Most of the headsets that are designed to listen to TV privately while your partner sleeps, etc, use RF technology. Plus there are others technologies, like Kleer, NFC, apt-X, which a few headphones and audio devices support. Often, these lessor know technologies work with higher quality audio files like WAV & FLAC and/or they do not compress the audio for transmission. They can give better audio quality. But the number of devices supporting these technologies is much smaller. Since my last several posts about headphones has generated some interest and PMs, I'm going to answer this in the main thread. Later when I have time (who knows when that will be) I'll put something in the Tech Help thread to make it easier to find. Over the ear headphones seem to come in two sizes: 1) big roomy ear cups that will fit just about everyone's ears, and 2) smaller ear cups that will fit very nicely for small to medium ears but will be partly over the ears and partly on the ears for larger ears. All of the over the ear Bluetooth wireless earphones that I have tried (more than just in the store) have been of the 2) size category. To give some perspective, my head circumference is 22.5 inches which is a M in a men's or unisex hat size, and a L in a lady's only hat size. I have only tried 2 different on-the-ear Bluetooth wireless headphones. One I recommend highly, the other I have some reservations about. And I have looked at the recommendations for some higher end ones that I have been hoping to find a good deal on. Headset # 1: Highly RecommendedMEElectronics Air-Fi Matrix2 AF62 Stereo Bluetooth Wireless + Wired Headphones with aptX, AAC, and NFCOriginal list price: $150 Amazon current price: $94.94 (See also the "Other Sellers" link for $89.99) www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DOP3NPW/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1MEElectronics current price: $89.99 www.meelec.com/product_p/hp-af62-cf-mee.htmAmazon description: - Can be used both wired (stereo audio only) and wirelessly
- Rich wireless audio experience with deep bass, crystal clear vocals, and silky smooth treble
- Advanced Bluetooth 4.0 technology with NFC and support for aptX and AAC audio codecs for HD-quality audio
- Built in microphone for headset functionality with controls for media and phone calls
- Up to 22 hours of battery life for both talk and audio playback
My evaluation: I just got these headphones a week ago and had only listened to them via a wired connection to my computer until an hour ago. Trying them connected to my Galaxy S5 smartphone via Bluetooth right now! My initial impression - OMG, great sound for Bluetooth headphones, as good as or better than the mid-quality ($100-200 price range) wired headphones that I have. The clarity of sound is great right out of the box, no muddled sounds. The bass is strong but not overwhelming. (For comparison, Beats & Dre headphones tend to have overwhelming bass.) And the volume can be turned up rather loud, more so than on some of my wired headphones. My only complaint is that I had to consult the instruction manual to figure out how to connect them to my phone's Bluetooth the first time. Also note that the ear cups just barely cover my ears. Headset # 2: I have some reservations about these, but some people (usually baseheads) really love themBluedio R+ Legend Verson Bluetooth Wireless Headphones, Supports NFC, Deep bassOriginal List price: $299.99 Amazon current price: $99.99 www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H1XKC1Q/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1Officially, these headphones are described as on-ear. But the ear cups are fairly large for on-ear headphones and they just barely fit over my ears, with about the same fit as Headset #1 described above. They work in both wireless and wired mode. However, out of the box, I was not at all happy with the sound. They have a very deep bass, but that was not the problem. They had a very "muddy" sound, i.e., no clarity of sound. It was like listening to music with a thick hat on. But after 40 or so hours of using them, they are starting to actually sound good. A lot of headphones require such a "burn-in" time before they start to sound good, some more than others. (Headset #1 above sound good without any burn-in time!) So I am reserving final judgement on these headphones till I have used them longer. I bought these headphones for one very particular reason. They have a built-in microSD card reader. You can load a microSD card with music, stick it in the slot on the headphone, and listen to the music. No separate music player required. And they will play FLAC audio files on the microSC card. But I have yet to try this feature. I'm waiting till I am satisfied that they have finished the burn-in period.

I'm trying to find a photo of Adam in that custom-tailored glorious suit he wore at some award he received. It was the most stunning suit. My memory eludes me. Gosh, anyone catching my stream of thought? I can't pin the night down but the suit was luscious. Mono-color. Shoot. Best suit winner IMO. If I could only find the darn thing.
