I'm bringing this over not that I understand it but some info about Sauli and how he can stay for a longer period. adamquotedaily.blogspot.com/2011/04...g.html?spref=twFor all you ladies offering to help Sauli stay in the US! He may be ok... On Sunday 10th April 2011, lilybop2010 said: Sauli may have a Media (I) Visa which allows longer stay w/ no extension needed. Admission is granted on a "duration of status" basis and as long as the media representative continues working for the sponsoring employer, no extensions of stay in the US are needed How long will I be able to stay on my I visa? You will be admitted for "duration of status" which means that you can stay as long as you work in your approved employment. The fact that one has "duration of status" annotated on their I-94 means that an extension will not be necessary. The same holds true for family members who are also admitted for "duration of status." "***So, if Sauli is asked to continue reporting from the US for his tabloid, he can stay as long as he is fulfilling his job. Yay for the Media (I) Visa! " We had this discussion here about a week ago. One of the issues raised was that Sauli and Katri may be independent contractors and not employees. Also discussed was how immigration law is so complicated that there are people that do it for a living. We don't know all the facts and it isn't as simple as reading the description of a visa. This is a post 9/11 world here in the States.

I'm sure the Finns can give a much more comprehensive background on Vikings and how they relate to the history of Finland, but it to my memory, they are technically Norse, which back in the day, included the entire region of Scandinavia. Sorry, no history this time. Only an interesting little fact about Sauli: he has worked on Viking Lines (ships sail between Finland and Sweden). www.vikingline.fi/index.asp?lang=en Does this count Viking enough :-)

That was an adorable coincidence when it was discovered. ETA: And Adam worked for Holland America ... I wonder if Sauli was looking for a hot Dutch boy?

This is the same pic that wal posted but with a little more light so we can see Sauli and Danielle. They seem to getting along really well. Is that Sauli and Danielle or Sauli and Alisan? Can't tell.

Almost positive it's Danielle. Even in heels and Sauli not being the tallest guy, Alisan would come up to his shoulders. She's TINY.
