On the phone with my cellular provider as I am not able to get my personal hot spot set up so I can connect to my ipad and watch in the car on our 1.5 hour drive to a party. Not having a ton of luck getting through to them - might have to connect with my hubby's phone and use his data.

I finally have my 2 granddaughters (15,17) together after 2 years so have been spending lots of time with them. They want to see a movie tonight but I WILL be back before the Queen + Adam show starts.So, so excited to see them live on my computer. All the food and drinks everyone has been showing are so tempting, makes me want to run to the store. HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Hi Franki13, just want to make sure you know that QAL starts at 6:15 Eastern time in the U.S. If you are watching a movie with the little ones tonight, the show might be over by the time the movie ends. Looks like you are in TN. Don't want you to be disappointed. Have a great time. |

PUBLISHED: DECEMBER 31, 2014 Queen with guest frontman Adam Lambert will help ring in 2015. Queen and American Idol alum Lambert will welcome the new year with a live performance before 2,000 fans at the Westminster Central Hall in London. The concert will pause at the stroke of midnight for the chimes of Big Ben and an annual fireworks display over the Thames river. Lambert toured with Queen last year and tonight's performance will help kick off a new European tour. Freddie Mercury, the group's vocalist, died in 1991 from complications from AIDS. Lambert has previously praised Mercury's flamboyant showmanship. “Freddie's voice has so much texture to it,” he told NRP in 2010. “He kind of grabs at everything, he squeezes it.” “He was completely over the top in the best possible way. Music, most of the time, is about sexuality, whether you are straight, gay or in between. It's about love and sex. That's rock 'n' roll,” Lambert said. Well the eve of new has passed here in Oz. So have a great night to those still In wait. I'm traveling so won't be able to watch the show but there are sure to be caps of the stream so will watch on the flip side.

But what will he wear. I think something extremely classy but not normal. He dress up for last NYE and that was small potatoes compared with this. |
