Pretty decent show. As expected GH 1&2 setlist with nary a song NOT on one. I wasn't a fan of the mix - Spike was up to high and Brian not high enough...Brian's guitar was drowned out at some points I felt... It definitely felt like the band had been off a few months...not quite as tight - also of course not helped by a ton of little edits and rush to fit the time frame so it really was a different animal. It almost seemed as if at first, Adam wasn't sure how to do a Queen show without the big expansive set to run around in so to me it was a bit slow to start but it picked up and they finally just started having fun. So all in all a decent show and I'm hoping that the European tour will provide a few happy surprises. You sure are difficult to please. I thought it was great. Perhaps you should let the BBC know there sound mix sucked  Tinafea, I love you:) |
