Ok...this dude didn't seem to like the NYE concert but liked Adam. I'm not posting his name to keep it private. Whatever dude! AllWeHearIsRadioHoHo chunkeymonkey81 3m3 minutes ago Oh yea totally NO enthusiasm in that crowd lolz forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showpost.php?p=76244399&postcount=92 … they looked miserable lolll
Just back home from this. Live, (i.e. being there, it was awful!), waste of money, wish I hadn't have bothered. The 'show' was billed as starting at 10.30. I assumed/expected that meant Queen were on at 10.30 and then BBC1 joined at 11.15. No. Some hideous support act came on at 10.30, the sort of busker type that you'd completely ignore if you saw them in an underground tunnel. Inside was packed, uncomfortably so and quite lacklustre in enthusiasm. Not sure about how it sounded up in the balcony seats but downstairs standing, the sound was totally appalling! Just really bad. I recorded it and will watch tomorrow, maybe it came across better on the telly than live. Have to say though Adam Lambert is a great frontman and showman but it was just utter 'karaoke' Queen. I'm sure comparable is currently gigging in a pub near you! Lambert is very good but he should concentrate on his own career, not this. Maybe this pays him better than doing his own thing though.
He updated his review on page 7 of that same thread: "Quoting myself to update my original 'review' of this posted about an hour after it finished on the night as have just got round to watching the recordings. Some of my original thoughts seem quite harsh now. Wow, quite a contrast! For me this comes over way better on TV that it did on the night! For starters the sound is actually far better than I expected as, as mentioned before, in the venue itself I thought it was really poor. I do think however that some of the crowd shots do occasionally show that it was lacking a little in atmosphere. The crowd, around me and my restricted view bit anyway, were quite sedate for the most part. Not really a 'rock' show atmosphere, but maybe appropriate for TV purposes. Finally I can only echo the majority praise directed towards Adam Lambert. Didn't know of him at all before this. What a star this guy is! Great frontman, amazing voice. I hope he goes onto be huge in this country in his own right and hopefully this association with Queen will go a long way toward helping achieve that."

TERRA @alternaterra · 13h 13 hours ago I decided to UL MP3s of QAL NYE using the source I have now. Will replace if I get better audio www.adamwiki.org/wiki/2014-12-31_Queen_and_Adam_Lambert_Rock_Big_Ben_Live#Downloads … Just finished reading today's thread. Can't believe that no one found this tweet Terra posted 13 hours ago. (If you are looking for the best video and audio, follow @alternaterra on Twitter and go check her web site www.adamwiki.org/ for Adam media!!!). This is THE BEST audio from the NYE concert to date. Even if you have downloaded the audio I uploaded, or from anyone else, download THIS audio. This audio is in mp3. (But if making CD's read my technical note below and try before deleting previous audio.) The source for this audio is the 1080p video that Terra posted a link to yesterday. This video originated from madonion007 and is a TV screen cap without watermarks. The download link for the video is also on Terra's web page, but it goes to a different Mega download folder. Note that Terra thinks there might be an even better video/audio coming. And if it does, she will make another audio edit. How to download this audio:
Go to the web link. Find "Downloads" heading near bottom of page and click on "MP3s of the complete concert". In the new window, click on the link under "Direct links". This will take you to the Mega download page. On the Mega page, download the file that ends in "zip". Once this is downloaded, double click on the file and it should extract all of the audio into single song files within a folder with the same same as the zip file. If you are using a very old operating system like Windows XP, you may need to install WinZip or 7-Zip software to extract the files. More recent versions of Windows have this built in as do Macs. Technical note, scroll if inclined, but may need if want to write CD from this audio: The audio in the video source Terra used was in AC3 format (used in BluRays) and had to be converted to something else for compatibility with more audio players, so she choose the highest quality of mp3 that she could, namely 320 kbps, 48 kHz mp3. CDs however, require audio in 44.1 kHz format. Many CD burning software programs may perform the conversion automatically, but some may not. If you have problems writing this audio to CD, please send me a PM along with what software you are trying to use and details on your PC (Version of Windows, Mac). Thank you so much for the detailed instructions dancy ...I now have the whole show in my iTunes, labelled and everything....yeah!

Chris Neugebauer @chrisjrn 14m14 minutes ago Hobart, Tasmania Just watching the BBC's New Years Eve coverage. They got a Queen + Adam Lambert concert; so you can't blame them for being better than ABC…

OMG....ninjas.....Is Adam in Italy with one of "The Collection"? Turin is in Italy, right? Or am I reading too much into it.
Giulio Scarpelli lives in Turin. Adam and he seem to be good friends. Maybe he took a little trip for a couple of days.
