I just read MJ's synopsis of the first 2 episodes of Idol she got to see & she said the focus its totally on the judges! Jan 15th might be the first time in the past 3 years i will actually be happy with that!  I suppose this means JLo, and JLo, and more JLo... so I am not raising my hopes up too much... |

zeldon--I bought my earplugs for the QAL concerts last July, but realized quickly that I never needed them so they remain unused....I couldn't bear to miss a single sound. Anyway, the ones I purchased were ETY PLUGS {standard fit} from www.etymotic.com They were highly recommended and were delivered quickly. Have a wonderful time at the concert..... Zeldon - I used these too. They were great and I could still hear everything. The "wall of sound" is LOUD, the plugs kept my ears from ringing for the next few days (which usually happens to me). Highly recommend. |

Not according to MJ. Lots of interaction between judges & even with the staff. The auditions have always pretty much focused on the judges, but she says it is even more so now & she actually thought it was really good. |

EARPLUGS - I know this has been hashed out more than once on our forum. But can anyone remind me of the best place to order concert earplugs online? Thanks! I ordered my sons the etymotics on Amazon and they like them. I have a brand called Hearos which I bought in a local guitar/music store. After talking with the salesperson, he said it was the brand drummers use. I have been very happy with them and they look exactly like the etymotics. I have tinnitus and after Houston where I forgot to bring them, my ears rang louder for quite a while. I had a blast and decided it was worth it but definitely took them to my next concert. At minimum, wear them during Dr. Bri's long solo. He plays some very high frequencies and it in no way alters the beauty of his playing to wear the earplugs. The ringing in my ears calmed down fortunately after Houston and I had no additional ringing after wearing the earplugs for the majority of the next concert and I seriously had just as much fun. |

10 days and we have the beginning of the EU tour.....afterwards, A3!! There will be plenty to look at and listen to in the upcoming weeks. The time should fly!
