Not sure yet.
In NA he had the blessing and curse of being known. The blessing in that he had a lot of his fans going to the US concerts. A curse because the weight of American Idol was tough for some "rawk" fans.
In Europes it's the opposite. The blessing in that he is less known so might be able to just get by on his voice which is a good thing. The curse in that he is an unknown stepping in the shoes of arguably the greatest frontman of all time.
I have the feeling that he will be received well...it just might take a little longer...

^ I think that depends on where it is in the setlist. If AOBTD stays where it is then I think he'll save it. If it's moved down he might do it there. It seems that singalongs are much better received midway or just after midway through a concert. Too soon and the crowd is still just kind of getting into it...especially for Adam who has to win over the Queen crowd first. How do you think he will be received at the UK shows given the success of the NYE show? Judging by his acceptance in 2011 at EMAs, 2012 short tour, and NYE I have no worries!! Remember, the people going are people who WANT to be there! They bought tickets!

And that one was a (statistically) overwhelming YAY, wasn't it? If anything - being there in person is more powerful than seeing him on TV screen... IMO it's a slam dunk no matter what. I am 1000% sure.

Additionally many of the attendees are young enough not to have experienced Queen back in the day.

The EMAs, the iHeart and the NYE shows all got massive positive responses. They were all audiences who were not watching because they are die-hard Queen fans. To me, if the audience does not have the stigma of "who the hell does he think he is trying to replace Freddie?", their minds and ears and eyes are open to hearing and seeing Adam for the outstanding singer/performer that he is.
The upcoming QAL tour will have mostly life-long Queen fans. A much tougher audience predisposed to not like Adam. Doesn't matter. That just means it may take him a song or two longer than others to fall under his spell. It will happen.
Also, given the stellar reviews and raves from NYE and other recent appearances, I think even Queenies will be pre-softened to accept/like Adam. It's now the cool thing to do.

I feel only excitement for Adam .... he'll win them over. No doubt. Actually, didn't give it a second thought. Those worry days are definitely over for me......Well, we do have A3. I can't imagine it not getting radio play as Adam is in a different sphere coming off QAL. And, he's had critical acclaim with his past productions. I want a hit song. I want a tour (not necessarily arena, although that's what he wants).
Today my only angsts are for the football outcomes.
