I am trying to make plans for the summer but my priority is E3 touring. What is the best guess when this might happen. You know it will happen but I want to be able to go and DH might, just might get upset if I left for a few days in the middle of our trip. Plus if I can get BM tickets I want to do that and while the tickets are easy to resell I will have incurred other costs. Oh the problems of an Adam Fan

Ratings may have been low. But it was still #1 in the 18-34 demo with a 1.7. BBT was #2 (rerun) with a 1.5 I thought most ratings were evaluated after 7 to 10 days because of all the DVD's and streams. That would be a more realistic number. I haven't watched AI in quite a few years. I actually enjoyed the flow of things last night. Not a lot of singing though.

**** But we got "Save Me" and that was also on my top, top, top wish list.
I've always wanted to hear Adam sing "Save Me" and I got it so I'm a very happy camper. He sings it very beautifully. Though now I want to hear him sing You Take My Breath Away . Yes .. I'm greedy . Though if they do that it means they have to take some of the ballads song, "Save Me" then I will be

ET On Line video.
Adam Lambert Videos @adamlambertvids 15m15 minutes ago
Watch Adam Lambert Re-Audition for 'American Idol': youtu.be/cVvgXifeRT8 via Entertainment TonightThis was great! I almost didn't watch because I thought it was the same video I've seen many times already, but it's narrated by an ET reporter and even shows a clip of I Was Born to Love You plus info on the new label, etc.

Some interesting observations (mine) about last nite's AI. It would have had lower ratings no matter what, I watched part of the previous nite, and it was horrible. The contestants weren't very good, and the overall production was marginal. So I think people thought why waste 2 hours the following evening.
It was interesting to see that JLo huddled very closely to Harry C. for most of the broadcast. Jlo spoke a lot, and Harry did more theatrics than judging, which gave Adam very little time to comment. Jlo was constantly looking at Harry, and the two talking while contestants were singing was rude. I think JLo is totally intimidated by Adam, his professionalism, which caused her to up her game fortunately. I think she is so intimidated by his beauty, his knowledge, and talent, and his general charm, wit and musical knowledge. She huddled to Harry for safeness and comfort. Maybe she also was shocked at the fact he was more honest with the contestants, and said no to a lot more than she would have.
I think Adam significantly upped the ante, which was good. I loved the way he really listened to each contestant and gave them their opportunity.
This show is on it's way down and the headline of blaming Adam for last nite's low rating is laughable.

OUCH! Adam's always media darling, media loves him they love to write about him. So this announcement with RCA names mentioned next to Warner Brothers, somehow I think it's like a slap on the face of RCA with all this news. Or at least that's the way I like to see it.. LOL

Smokey, thanks for your thoughtful comments as always. The fact that Adam was truly "present" for the contestants made him stand out. He also picked out their strengths, too, even when he said no.
Factor in destination TV watching is on the decline as well, and TV on demand and Netflix, binge watching without commercials, and any decline is predictable. Many people lose interest in trying to locate their favorite show as networks shuffle schedules and split seasons of higher rated shows.
I will be interested in seeing if Neil Patrick Harris's variety show will work on TV. Adam could be a frequent guest!
