Oh cassie, I wasn't familiar with Save Me. I didn't fall the first time I heard Adam sing it, but I knew with that emotional content he would easily make it his own.
And oh damn girl, that last crystalline never ending high note at the end of the 1-18 London performance of Save Me? It pierced me, my soul, my heart. Damn damn damn, I used to think that "goosies" was sort of a cutesy phrase, but goosies were what he gave me.
Head voice, chest voice, thanks to you I even know about these terms. But sometimes the magic transcends the art. Sometimes it doesn't matter about the underpinnings (except that it helps to explain some of the magic). I wasn't cerebrally evaluating that note, I was feeling it, living it.
That note, that note needs no explanation, that note hanging suspended in that vast arena, it is just for me the culmination of what music should be. Felt, in every part and pore of my body. This man is a genius, a rarity, truly a GFG.
Damn, Adam, thank you. Thank you. I hope you know.

I thought that WWTLF was great but he is doing something different when he sings fingertips and I think I like it better the way he had been singing it.
