WAITING TO HEAR FROM OUR ATOP PEEPS WHO WERE THERE TONIGHT!! Is it really true that tonight's concert was even better than Saturday's???  Don't you know, by now, that the next concert is ALWAYS better than the last one?!!  |

Don't you know, by now, that the next concert is ALWAYS better than the last one?!! In this case, IMO tonight's concert was slightly better than Saturday's concert. Perhaps because of the audience -- some people were at the 1.17.15 show and so there were more people who knew how great Adam was. Partly because they were all more relaxed tonight. Adam was more talkative and did more with the audience on Sunday's show. He asked people to participate more. He worked in more singalongs. He was in the audience for Radio Gaga tonight. He asked people to takeout their phones for WATC. Brian's solo was tighter and the best I have seen. On Saturday it was a bit overlong and had an odd miss in it. Tonight's solo was shorter and Adam was looser and move "Adammy" and the call and response part was great. The odd whatever that happened on "Save Me" was not there tonight. Many parts of the Sunday concert had Adam vocals that were different -- slightly altered and more playful in some places. *** What was most stunning to me, was that the two concerts were so great. Not so much which was better but that they could perform at this high level two nights in a row. I did not attend Glasgow but was told by many people who saw all three shows that Glasgow was the best show. I have no idea about Glasgow but I do know that the two O2 shows surpassed anything I saw in the US or Canada. ETA: One last comment than I have to go to sleep -- Adam sounds different, better different, but different to me. I do not have he vocal expertise to explain what was different but something is different. |
