I am ar the concert. WWTLF and SM were perfection. SO happy for you Q3! Have lots of fun! I wake up this morning to two major accomplishments: 1. I actually posted something from a concert -- albeit with typos in it! 2. I managed to get up in time to make my train to Leeds. (I can sleep when I return to the US!)

Guys I read the Classic Rock review and I thought it was really good. I thought the reviewer was just saying that it is a jolt at first when they start One Vision to hear a voice other than Freddie's and after you get your ears adjusted to the difference it's all good and Adam was great. That's how I saw it anyway. All good to me. I mean this is a Classic Rock review we are talking about here! That's what I thought also. I thought the CR review was also a good review -- and for me hearing "One Vision" sung by a voice quite different from Freddie's was a bit jarring. The song is well known in the UK and Europe (it was #7 in the UK). Had no real impact in the US. I think the most famous live version of this song is the Live At Wembley Stadium version, Saturday 12 July 1986. This performance was very different from the Q+AL version -- although Brian and Roger were similar. > The 1986 live version was a stadium concert, not an arena show with the big screens. > Adam's vocals were different, and his take on the song was different -- even down to doing the chicken when he sang "fried chicken". *** Having seen the show twice, I think this was the perfect opening song for the UK. The timing is also interesting -- OV is believed to have been inspired by Martin Luther King and today is MLK day in the US. A nice coincidence.

Here's my QAL London 1 full show mp3 audio download link: Copy & paste into web browser, deleting space in "ht tps": ht tps://mega.co.nz/#!WMF2iK4L!1Cf-CpPT_zBm9ijcAr73VZlzDW6KmaO_qDaRq5Q6HoU Clickable link: tinyurl.com/obwxvzzI converted this directly from the raw WAV files without any improvement. The volume is rather low if playing on PC speakers, but it is ok using headphones. The raw WAV files sound WAY BETTER than this mp3 conversion. This is because I really need to increase the volume before converting to mp3. However, the people around me were clapping VERY LOUD and this loud clapping is maxing out the allowed distortion free volume limit. I need to do some serious editing to decrease the loudness of the clapping, then increase the volume of the whole audio, and then split it into individual files. Likely this will not happen till I return from my trip and have access to better software than I have on my travel laptop. Here's a link to my London 2 full show audio. The volume is much better on this one, but there is a little more talking. I will post split files of this audio when I get a chance, hopefully before the next concert. <laughs> "The Breakfast Club" was a movie from the '80's with Molly Ringwald, Aly Sheedy, and a whole batch of kids who wound up being Hollywood A-listers.
Don't know if I would catagorize Adam's dancing there as Breakfast Club-esque, but here ya go!
