Nothin' wrong with a lyric cheat sheet. Performers do it all the time. They may not refer to it at all, but knowing it is there, they can concentrate on delivery, audience interaction, etc without worry about lyrics.
For one audition I did, I was asked to sing the Star Spangled Banner. Been singing it all my life. And, yes, I had a lyric fail. Nerves and adrenaline will do that to you. It is silly to ignore it because of ego, IMO.

That's it guys! So I finally saw Adam live! I've never experienced a feeling like this before. I was shaking up until the curtain went down. Before yesterday, to me, Adam was a picture, a guy in videos I watched, a guy on my TV and my laptop who stole my heart all those years ago. Yesterday, I saw with my own eyes that the beautiful man I stan and love is real. It sounds crazy but it's true. I know that his vocals slay. After all, they were the first thing about him that I fell in love with. But hearing those vocals live just proves how talented he is. He sang the shit out of all those iconic songs. Queen songs! In my opinion, some of the hardest songs that someone could ever try to sing. But Adam does them with justice and so much passion and emotion and theatricality. I am so honoured to call him my idol. I feel slightly different after this concert, like something has changed in me haha. This concert made me fall in love with Adam even more; I honestly didn't know that was possible.
