A couple of observations: Adam's manner changes depending on the costume/point in the show. This is my opinion only. Leather: major rocker, more rasp Fringe: walks a bit more campy and OTT; uses those eyes Brown outfit: a bit more formal for the "big" songs Plaid pants: fun, playful, and even more relaxed if possible Leopard suit: shows more humility and brings himself in a bit more; trying to take it all in with the guys Of course the shoes/boots he has on probably give him a different "feel" for the stage as well. Or, it isn't all that deep. How does he sing like that, go through his physically demanding antics, know where he should be on stage, AND give signals to his audio guy on the move...what a pro! This is just me, just my personal opinion, - I am disconcerted each time I see the front view of his plaid pants, that the checks are not aligned in straight rows, especially if you consider he spends a small fortune for his outfits... Otherwise he always looks divine!

Otherwise he always looks divine! If it makes you feel any better it is supposed to make you a bit disconcerted and is on purpose. There is quite a bit of plaid in the edgier boutiques here. Very popular with teens and 20-somethings here. ....and much of it has slightly or majorly off kilter seams. (I got a chance to so some touring around Leeds yesterday including a bit of shopping.)

As dancygeorgia pointed out, "too much sewing to not notice". I've wasted so much fabric trying to get the pattern to match! And, Kagmel, you're right - we know those pants were not cheap.
