Seemed to me there were more VIPs at the 18th show (vs. the 17th show). Most/almost all of whom were unknown to me -- they were mostly not famous celebrities. I was told there were a number of rock musicians at these shows -- I only saw Sammy Haggar on the 17th. And we could not see who was in all the skyboxes -- and O2 has a lot of skyboxes. Not a rock musician but I ran into my friend who works at the O2 and he said Tom Hanks was there on the 17th Tom Hanks? Cool. But more importantly, HOW DID YA LIKE THE SHOW??!!??!!??!!??!!

That gesture of putting his hand into the beam of light when he sings, "Touch my world with your fingertips" was a stroke of genius. I wonder if Adam came up with that spontaneously or realized ahead of time what a great move it would be.

I checked into my hotel in Leeds and the desk clerk asked me if something was going on here. I told him I was here to see Queen. He told me "Do you know they have this great new singer... that he saw on BBC NYE. I say yes I was here from the States because of Adam Lambert. If only he Knew the half of it. Adam fever is kind of spreading over the UK. I is brilliant to see. By the end of this UK leg of the tour the UK will finally be ready for Adam music.

(or perhaps my brain is just making that up?)

I'm thinking it could have been playing the second night in a huge sold-out arena and having been so well-received the first night that put him so at ease and free. Me, too! Reminds me of how silly and dancey he was at Mohegan Sun #1, the night after getting the pressure of MSG out of the way! Although, I am having a hard time finding were, on O2 #1, Adam wasn't loose, dancey, and fun! I thought he was on fire both nights! Maybe the Glamberts were tense the first night and not Adam, just sayin! #projection The first O2 show seemed far more relaxed than MSG to me. I was at both. The second MSG show was like no Adam concert I have ever seen. He was more theatrical, more cabaret than the shows I have seen but so relaxed. He got Queen to do that funk improve bit. And he was just silly at times. But it all worked. And there were very few Adam fans at the two O2 shows. He is having to win over an audience of non-transferable. He also left it all on the stage. He was just dripping with sweat during KQ. I imagine you can see it on the videos.
