Queen & Adam - 50.72% The bigger we can get our lead, hopefully the Foreigner fans will start dropping off and realize they can't beat QAL! Don't take the lead for granted; it could go the other direction if we slack off, and that has happened at times. Ends Feb. 3 at 9 a.m. E.T. ultimateclassicrock.com/tour-of-the-year-2014/#pd_a_8567

masterherald.com/adam-lambert-the-next-lead-singer-for-queen/8346/Adam Lambert The Next Lead Singer For Queen?Posted By: Kazem SedighzadehPosted date: January 20, 2015In: TV The lead singer of Queen has been dead for some time and the band has been actively looking to replace what is missing with a voice that could match that of Freddie Mercury. In recent news, the band might have found someone they can play with for the time being. You might remember the name, this guy was on American Idol about 6 years ago now and even though he did not win, there was plenty of work for him in the coming years. Apparently the 32-year old has been singing with the band Queen and according to sources, he can fill the shoes of Freddie Mercury. In sort of a weird twist, Adam Lambert actually did a few of Queen’s more popular songs while moving through the ranks of American Idol. The band still has its original members on the guitar and the drums. Queen with Adam Lambert has been on tour and the critics are raving. Before now, there were plenty of critics that thought there could be no Queen without Freddie Mercury. The band has been on tour and has more than 30 dates already completed, while they are now traveling across the United Kingdom. Those that remember seeing Queen many years ago, remember that Freddie was very flamboyant on stage and that seems to be the case with Adam Lambert according to sources. There is no reason that Adam Lambert should feel the need to impersonate the legend, but come critics are saying that he is seemingly doing that without trying. Adam Lambert is reportedly a very big fan of the band and was only 9 years old when Freddie died, but that does not stop him from remembering him on stage by saying “I love him just as much as you.” It appears that he is a success with Queen and in an interview a couple of months ago, Adam Lambert revealed that he was very nervous that fans would think he was trying to replace the legendary singer. Adam Lambert toured with the band all throughout the summer and said that he was “pinching himself” the entire time because he was not able to believe that once just a huge fan, now the lead singer with the original band members. Knowing that it was an impossible feat to have happen to anyone in the world, Adam Lambert took to the job as cautiously as he could. That mindset has garnered him critics reactions that are saying he is simply “stealing the show.”
