That was frickin amazing. I love Adam so much. I'm so grateful to my fellow Birmingham people for being such a wonderful crowd. My friend with me has heard me rave about Adam for 4 years (as long as I have know her!) and she has heard his albums, seen some videos. When the show finished, the first thing she said to me was "I get it now". One of the other people with us said the show literally couldn't have been any better. Another one said if they played here again tomorrow (today now!) she would come again in an instant. Thank you for your stream  It sounded wonderful and from the vids the concert was adamazing. Glad you had a great time with your friends. |

I was listening from California and it sounded fab and the audience was amazing. It's always so validating when your friends finally "get it"! Sounds like you all had a great time.  |

ROCK legends Queen took to the stage at Birmingham’s newly-named Barclaycard Arena in full glory last night (Friday, January 23). The sold-out gig was one not to be missed as Brian May, Roger Taylor and Neil Fairclough joined acclaimed singer Adam Lambert who gave everything they had for an epic- yes, I mean epic performance. The crowd couldn’t resist joining in with Lambert and belting out the classic hits – which just kept coming, during the two-and-a-half hour show. Everything from ‘Fat-Bottomed Girls’ to ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ to ‘We Will Rock You’ was thrown into the mix, to the delight of Queen fans new and old. Adam Lambert does a terrific job as stand-in frontman for the late Freddie Mercury and he does all the songs justice without stepping on the toes of the beloved and great lead singer. Tributes were made to singer songwriter during the show with flashback video sequences of the rock legend on stage.
