There was a very civil discussion between @nansenm and some Adam fans.... I am bringing it over because it is so respectful (on both sides).

Nans Miron is a rock musician and a Queen fans. He tweeted "The show must go on. But please not with this singer." in the concert Twitter feed. Surprised a few people.

He responded to all the comments and questions about his opinion:

I get the clarification but why the need for it in the first place? what if he did mean Adam is so gay in a rude way? how does scolding someone on twitter like they are a child help?

I just wish fans would dial back the "mothering" because it just looks silly to constantly defend a grown man.

This is JMO of course and people are free to do what they want.

The people paying to see these shows aren't paying to see Adam, they are paying to see Brian and Roger and Adam just happens to be singing the songs. For them it is about the music and not the singer and if they don't particularly like Adam singing these songs that should be okay and understandable because they are Queen fans, not Adam fans.

He has won over the vast majority who were unsure, if he doesn't win over 100% that should surprise anyone. No one can please everyone and if he could he would be generic and unremarkable IMO, which he clearly is not.

As far as I can see, the response to Adam in Paris is similar to the UK shows. The audience roared when they were asked the "new man" question.

Yes, there is one person on the twitter feed who though Adam was not a "rock" vocalist. Not a unique opinion that has not been heard before this concert. Although it was more common in the US (Queen was most popular here during their rock period) than in the UK.
