Well to be honest, a lot of Queen fans came to the concerts ESPECIALLY to see Brian and Roger, they didn't particularly come to see Adam. But most of them went home with a much appreciation for the him. (Adam fans go to these concerts to see him. I went to QAL to see QAL. . Some Q-fans, maybe small numbers, still don't get him. Which is fine IMO. Just because we love him and we think he's the best ever, we cannot expect everybody to have the same opinion. And If we go by the crowd reaction as per the tweet, I don't think the reaction for Paris concert's not as bad as we think.
I just don't understand. Where is the idea that this was not favorably received coming from? I am reading ecstatic comments from the people at the venue. Am I missing something? Nope you don't miss anything. I saw someone tweeted that the audience's roar when they're asked what did they think of the new man. So I think it's as favorable as the UK.

Just back from Paris concert. Fan small venue with great sound. Brian really went overboard bonding with the audience with his fluent French and extra special songs. There were cheerleaders on backstage side leading the audience in various claps before the show started. I thought it might be Neil but might have been crew. The floor was into every moment. People in seats more reserved (a few empty seats), but they dang and clapped along. I was surrounded by UK Queen fans who saw a show over the padt couple weeks and wanted to see it again in a smaller venue. Adam really sweaty - stage was hotter than usual or he was working extra hard trying to win converts over. Brian flubbed his BoHo solo and you'll see him laughing about it with Neil. So wonderful to see these high caliber musicians work things out, esp when something derails slightly (it's dangerous after all). This small venue reminded me a bit of the Hammersmith shows in 2012. Looking forward to seeing some great photos since mine were a complete failure. Carry on! Glad you had a wonderful time bb! WOOT! ATOP represents! ETA: What sort of claps? Practicing for Gaga?
