Wow! Adam really had to work hard to get Roger to the tempo he wanted! This is the first time I see such an overt effort with Queen! I guess they need to do TSMGO more often ! I've never notice Adam do this before. Did Roger respond? I can't tell.. Last time I saw Adam doing his tempo arm flapping was to at the beginning of Red House I think...

I think this was translated backwards! It should be "Impeccable lame and suggestive banana!"

About the 2.10 mark Adam sings "I'm singing those same old words" because he repeated the same verse!

www.skynet.be/musique/actu/actu/1117637/le-show-continue-pour-queen-pres-de-25-ans-apres-la-mort-de-freddie-mercuryskynet musique (google translated) The show continues for Queen, nearly 25 years after the death of Freddie Mercury(Belga) For nearly a quarter of a century that Freddie Mercury is no more, but the songs of the legendary band Queen, is still alive and well, with a new European tour that was stage Monday night in Paris for more two-hour electric show. From the heady bass line of "Another bites the dust" to the heavy rhythm of "We Will Rock You", to the supercharged guitars of "I want it all" or "The show must go on" The Zenith of Paris has honored the tubes to a separate group, combining AOR rock, pop and theatrics. Freddie Mercury died in 1991 at age 45, is now replaced by the eccentric micro and bluffing Adam Lambert, an American 32-year winner of the American version of "The New Star". From studded leather jacket leopard costume or Scottish scarlet pants, the singer with the impeccable banana and suggestive lame knows perching his voice high, very high. Between songs, he did not forget to applaud Freddie Mercury, whose voice joins that of the group on "Love of my life" and then "Bohemian rhapsody" through videos projected on a big screen backdrop . Guitarist Brian May, 67, and his long white hair now, and drummer Roger Taylor, 65, and his white beard as the last two original members still on board, is also plenty to be happy. Brian May shows that he has not lost his touch by offering long solos while drummer displays a resplendent voice to sing "A Kind of Magic", but also a sense of some families leaving his seat several times to his son embarked on the adventure. Diverse group between old salts, leading man at the microphone and extra musicians in the shadows, always manages to seduce Queen with songs that put everyone agrees, the image of "We are the "final champions picked up by the thousands of Parisian audience. The European tour started on 13 January in Newcastle (UK) and must take place on 26 dates through the end of February. Parisian date the only one in France, was the first outside the United Kingdom. The group is now expected in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium (February 8), Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland (February 19) and Poland before returning to Britain in conclusion. Queen is a legendary group in Britain where, according to his house Mercury records, "one in three households owns" a copy of his first compilation, Greatest Hits (1981), sold more than 6 million copies. " Freddie Mercury, dead in 1991 at the age of 45, is replaced at the mic by the eccentric and impressive Adam Lambert, a 32-year old American champion of the American version of "La nouvelle star". Switching from a leather vest to a leopard costume or tartan pants, the singer with the impeccable mane and suggestive hip-thrusting also knows how to perch his voice high, very high. Between two of the numbers, he makes a point of paying homage to Freddie Mercury..."

The divine, and the human. A beautiful rendition of TSMGO. Sometimes in the past I have thought that Adam is too bombastic throughout the whole song, instead of building to a climax. This time, his voice is lighter in the beginning, and it works beautifully. He gets to one of the climaxes of the song and, it sounds like at the last micro second, decides to do a run up to the F#5, which he hasn't done in a long time. Problem is, it was such a split second decision he didn't have in his mind exactly the notes he wanted to hit, and the run was a little sloppy. Something rarely heard from Adam. Then, on the very last phrase of "must go on!" he overpowers the high note and ........ I have listened multiple times to multiple recordings of the Paris performance to be sure........ his voice cracks on the word "must." Yes, the boy is human after all. You might want to bookmark this rendition of TSMGO just because Adam's voice cracking is such an extremely rare event. (Thank goodness, as it is painful to hear, and not good for the voice.)
