I've been thinking how I was initially bothered by the tweeter who said Adam was so gay. We were okay when we found out he was gay. Doesn't this show hidden homophobia on my part. I jumped to the conclusion that saying someone was gay was a dis. Shouldn't I have reacted the same way as if someone had said " He's so tall" or He's so Californian". It's not the same. "So gay" has been used as a dis for years when the subject at hand has nothing to do with being gay. As far as I know, "tall" means tall and "Californian" means from California. "So gay" can mean homosexual or loser or idiot or any number of derogatory terms. I thought the original tweeter was so rude to call the responder a name--as if everyone should know the tweeter is gay. and here I thought the initial responder was completely out of line even tweeting the guy especially with the #shameonyou hashtag attached. The constant need to police every comment said about Adam does him no favors and reflects poorly on the fanbase IMO.

Bose speakers are great. I wonder how many people notice these little cracks if they aren't pointed out, especially since you say it wasn't huge? You mentioned it and went back to listen and still didn't hear it; but then, I don't listen for cracks or imperfections and only notice it when the person singing is just really awful. I think being a trained singer and musician I hear a lot of things that most other people do not. Not bragging, mind you. Everyone has their areas of expertise. Dancygeorgia, for example, sees all kinds of things in people's dancing and movement that I don't until she points it out and explains it. Sometimes even then I don't see it. She says, "No, that wasn't a rumba, it was actually a samba" or some such thing and I just nod and say "oh." And, is there really a difference between west coast swing and east coast swing? Sometimes it would be much more enjoyable NOT to hear little details which are minor imperfections in an overall successful performance. Or, with some singers, major imperfections, but the audience still is highly entertained and doesn't notice what I cannot help but cringe over. TBH, one of the many things I love about Adam is that he performs at such a high level of expertise that I can sit back and relax, knowing he won't make me cringe or squirm in my seat or fast forward thru something horrid. His performances are consistently excellent.... in every song, from concert to concert. I think I'm glad I don't hear every detail LOL. I enjoy live music too much to suffer through cringe worthy performances and crappy singers. It's bad enough when I can tell they are subpar but to hear it even when I think someone is good would be annoying to me.

yup. It can be. There are many amateur and even pro productions i choose not to attend because i will be squirming with discomfort. It also doesn't endear me to those i attend with. And worst of all, if they don't hear what i am hearing they think I am imagining things just being a culture snob, too snooty to have fun.

Cassie.
When end you heard the high pitchy note. Is this. Because he was forcing it. Not within his range. I noticed the one time when he was hitting those high notes he had his foot on the speaker and squeezed his groin as if to push all the air he could to hit that high note
was it a note that is attainable for him or just somewhat off As we have noticed sometimes I 've heard Briam miscue. Not often but there are booboo's. Lol.

Oh Cassie again.
Im always behind here but you hit the nail on the head describing an musician vs a technicinan!!! I've seen the difference when teaching classical dance. I had students who technically performed steps in succession but lyricism and flow were missing. There is a difference. Bravo. Hopefully people will understand the need for musicians this era3 around. (Hint. Adam)

I think I need to join you behind that couch. I didn't hear a crack in Adam's voice because I didn't listen to the song. I don't like the way Adam sings TSMGO. I don't know how to explain what's wrong, but it makes me want to run out of the room before I realize I just need to find the off button. While I'm confessing, I don't like FYE either. I'll join you 4Ms I don't listen to this one because I just don't like the harmonics of the song. The notes always sound off to me and the melody just grates. Didn't like it when Freddie sang it and don't like Adam singing it (so unlikely I'd like anyone). Would be interesting to hear it done in an acoustic style with the bombast stripped out of it. The lyric is actually quite haunting... hmmm.
