For those who can't open it, Lauer and the rest of the Today Show cast are talking about Philip Philips and the lawsuit, and they show (and discuss) a Forbes graphic where both he and Adam are tied for earning $5M dollars last year. They use a nice pic of Adam by the way. Its only a snippet, so I can't really tell how they're spinning the lawsuit. However, it does seem that they're talking about Idol earnings in general.

So......from all the wonderful videos, Twitter comments, and reviews from Paris " IMPECCABLE BANANA " is the phrase I will forever be connect to this concert. I can just imagine Adam having a good laugh about this translation.

www.skynet.be/musique/actu/actu/1117637/le-show-continue-pour-queen-pres-de-25-ans-apres-la-mort-de-freddie-mercuryskynet musique (google translated)The show continues for Queen, nearly 25 years after the death of Freddie MercuryFreddie Mercury died in 1991 at age 45, is now replaced by the eccentric micro and bluffing Adam Lambert, an American 32-year winner of the American version of "The New Star". From studded leather jacket leopard costume or Scottish scarlet pants, the singer with the impeccable banana and suggestive lame knows perching his voice high, very high. " Trans:
Freddie Mercury, dead in 1991 at the age of 45, is replaced at the mic by the eccentric and impressive Adam Lambert, a 32-year old American champion of the American version of "La nouvelle star". Switching from a leather vest to a leopard costume or tartan pants, the singer with the impeccable mane and suggestive hip-thrusting also knows how to perch his voice high, very high. Between two of the numbers, he makes a point of paying homage to Freddie Mercury..."

Haha, so funny the Google translation for "banane"! That happens a lot with colloquialisms! Last night's "putain" (ptn), for example, which was used as an expletive of deep appreciation or wonder, even though the primary meaning of the word is "whore". In the context of the article, "banane" refers to Adam's hairstyle and means "quiff". I speak French but I did not know this particular usage of the word and had to look it up: www.larousse.fr/dictionnaires/francais-anglais/banane/7738

someone on twitter translated it as impeccable interpretation which makes more sense than a mention about his hair but who knows, Paris is all about fashion LOL

How many artists of any kind would make faces like this knowing that they may be around forever. Such a hoot
