Haha, so funny the Google translation for "banane"! That happens a lot with colloquialisms! Last night's "putain" (ptn), for example, which was used as an expletive of deep appreciation or wonder, even though the primary meaning of the word is "whore". In the context of the article, "banane" refers to Adam's hairstyle and means "quiff". I speak French but I did not know this particular usage of the word and had to look it up: www.larousse.fr/dictionnaires/francais-anglais/banane/7738 Hey, WELCOME, soonish!!

Seems like she was picking up Adam's monitors but they are pointed toward the stage and away from her on UP. (Adam has a special sound mix for his stage monitors that is mostly his voice -- with a lower level of the other vocalists and the instruments.) There was one odd thing in Leeds. The soundboard was way up high at the back of the seating area level one. It was not on the floor. And there was a 20 foot drop from row 1 to the floor. Perhaps, they used an RF signal to get the sound to those stage monitors and she picked that up? What is strange is that she moved during the concert and yet all of her recordings have the same "Adam heavy" sound mix. On WWRY -- http ://youtu.be/c2BDrUStw3M And on TYMD -- the same thing. And she was clearly in front of his monitors for this recording. http ://youtu.be/Ci9W_q0dAnU I would love to know how this happened. But I am so glad it did. We have nothing else like these recordings. Asked my husband who used to be a sound engineer: - a mix that is 'Adam-heavy' could be for any of them. Most musicians ask for different mixes, because they want to hear more of the guitar, lead voice, backing vocals, anything. That is a personal thing. It could have been Brian's mix too as well as Adam's, if he wants to hear Adam clearly. - she could have been in front of an 'Adam-heavy' monitor, but that is not likely, because you can still hear the effect after she moves - with the wireless technology that they are using it could be that her camera either picks up one of the monitor mixes, or Adam's microphone (which is also wireless) - if she uses a separate (wireless!) microphone to make her recordings, chances go up that she has recorded one of the mixes floating around in the arena.

Queen + Adam Lambert - Zénith de Paris 26/01
Ok so where do I start ? It's a little difficult to put words on that... I was overwhelmed. I met some great people, French Glamberts and American ones I shared my apprehension with my two new American friends, who went to London too, tried to warn them that it may be difficult with the audience. They made me lie. And I couldn't be happier. They started clapping and cheering before the start of the show. And they never stopped. Stomping, clapping, cheering. And the cheers for Adam were the loudest I have ever heard in the five gigs I did. I cried. I was so fucking proud to see that, and I was so relieved. For my part, I was a little disappointed because the stage wasn't as usual, the Zenith is so small. So I didn't saw them as well as I've thought I would (I did see a lot of Adam's butt, could have been worse XD). Anyway, I'm happy to have witness that. For once, French people made me proud. Adam looked happy, Brian too, that's all that matter to me. I thank them also for the pic of the hand holding a pen for Charlie Hebdo. It meant a lot. I'm also happy that my friends who were waiting from 6am got their front row and were able to touch him when he went to the audience (of course I am jealous but I also know that I wouldn't have been able to stay in the middle of everybody and not fainted or panicked so no regret). I also looooooved seeing the face of my friend, it was her first Queenbert gig (not the last, next stop Brussels XD) and I think she loved it, big smile on her face and stars in her eyes XD As for the gig itself, well as usual, they rocked XD They did The Show Must Go On, with some trouble at the beginning to get the right beat, it was kinda funny. Adam was gorgeous and chatty and funny and he made me laugh so hard when he asked how we said "crazy" in french. We say "fou" and he only heard "ooouuuu" at first, but picked up the correct word quickly and said "foooooouuu" so so so cute XD Also I have a question. How 2h of Queenbert gig seems like 10min ? Are we going to another plane or something during that time ? Because each time, when WWRY is played, I look at my watch to check if they didn't skip all the songs between Stone Cold Crazy and WWRY !! Brian needs to explain that to me !! Anyway, for me it wasn't the best gig, but I'm really happy about the reviews they got and I hope they had as much fun as we did. Can't wait for Brussels now, it will be my last gig. I don't know how I'm going to live without them after that XD

Sherzie and everyone who'd like to know what OG means:
-OG stands for Original Gangster and was brought into the fandom use by Mr. Lambert himself (calling someone in the audience an "OG" at a TV talk show, I can't recall which show exactly...was it the View?..) -the fandom adopted it, giving it an additional meaning of Original Glambert or someone who's been on this ride since the very beginning... as for many of us - 6 years now!
