New single coming soon? Are they already starting the build-up for an April single, or does it mean we should expect it earlier? they are starting the build up for April....this is how a label properly promotes an upcoming release. They talk about it a lot to get people excited.

Ah F*ck! I thought I had figured out at which hotel they most likely would be, and I casually watched it for a bit from a distance. Turns out I was at the right place, but not at the right time. Well, maybe later. At least I know I will see Adam tomorrow, and he's going to do the thing that I love most about him: sing some songs!

Drive-by:
1. Buders, so agree about that coat. Every time I see him in it I just can't.....
2. I loved the Eber video, too.The explanation of the IG pic of Eber holding the unwrapped Trespassing album was a little bittersweet in that Adam got to live the dream, not Eber. But being a parent, I know how proud he must have been to have created the person and the environment to help his son achieve his.
3. "That fanboy, Sir Anthony Hopkins..."
4. Electrical engineer who loves to write. Gotta love it.
5. Eber and Leila both have high interpersonal skills that probably contributed to Adam's charm.

Thanks for posting the Ebert video! He really has a wicked sense of humor. I have to say I did get choked up when he talked about unwrapping his first vinyl in many years, his son's Trespassing album. What a great moment for a parent.
Thanks also for all the videos, photos and tweets you all bring over. No place better for all the news than Atop! I'm trying to keep up! Have a great birthday show all of you who are going, and then Amsterdam! Was there in September, close to where I was born.

It's so funny to hear Eber's side of the Adam story. VAMP:That's My Jam -- Top 40 - Eber LambertAssuming that's a young Eber in this photo on the screen behind him that's the most I have seen him look like Adam. I thought so too. Debbie Does Dallas era.

WTH Just give them your real BD and see what happens. I had no problem signing up yesterday afternoon and I used a fake birthday...keep trying. Thanks, 4ms and durberville! Just came in from snow shoveling and saw your suggestions. Tried them both and still get same "You are unable to register at this time." Grrrrrrrr.......Wonder if it's my iPad? I have to leave for a bit but will try to register from my laptop later. Thanks again!

houselady and 4M's You got me going in that rabbit hole, with that great Eber video and the link to the page refreshing my memory of Eber's speech with the sports charity group...I then clawed my way back out and dove into the local newspaper while having a bite to eat. Low and Behold!!! A small picture of Brain May on the front page of the Calgary Herald. (He is wearing a white cowboy hat. Being white hatted is a Calgary tradition bestowed upon special dignitaries to the city). That picture directs the reader to the entertainment section article. Included is a larger picture of Roger and Brian after being presented with the hats when they were here to perform in June.
It seems Brian has put the signed hat on Ebay for a charity...St. Mungo's Broadway (provides bed and support to 2500 per night that are homeless or those at at risk etc.etc.) It has received 29 bids and is presently at $580.00. The auction closes Feb 1.
The CEO of Tourism Calgary said they were unaware of the auction, but there are no rules involving what can and can't be done with the gift. "In fact, she considers it an "honour" that the hat would be valued so greatly and finds it fitting that is should be used for good." Hopefully I can post a scan, although probably not totally readable...at least a visual.
edit: Golly Holst...WOWZERS ....good sourcing...right clicked and saved. Thank you!
