Yesterday there was A LOT of conversations going on twitter among Adam's fans about DC's album, about the dissapointment , about the sophomore album and of course, like we did here at Atop, a lot of talking about Adam's sophomore album. I'm almost 100% sure that he followed part of these tweets and saw the angst of his fans.Maybe even went to some forums I dont know. Overthinker like he is, I dont know if he felt this angst himself or he felt the need to comfort his fans but this tweet was definitely not a random one that just happened to post one day. It was BECAUSE of what happened yesterday.This shows to me again that he is in the game 1000%, he knows what's going on, he's feeling the pulse of his fans and he's very serious about it. One of the reasons ILHSFM .

While we do know that he he googled himself during Idol for "market research" LOL, I think as his public profile grew he pulled back from that a bit. Although I think he may check out articles occasionally, Adam has said himself in interviews that he doesn't go to internet boards, even back right after Idol he talked about how he had started getting his info from his Mom sending him stuff rather than from him searching it out. On the other hand, I think he's embraced twitter wholeheartedly at this point, because it is fairly easy to skim and it doesn't matter if you just dip in occasionally because there's a constant stream of tweets. However one of the themes I see reoccurring every single time Adam tweets about his writing collabs (which he did again not too long before the "patient" tweet) is that excited fans tweet him about the collab, and sometimes some of them say things like OMG I CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR IT and I WANT NEW MUSIC NOW and HOW AM I GOING TO SURVIVE UNTIL FALL and stuff like that. Even though it's really just hyperbole if you see that 100s and 100s of times it might start to feel like real impatience. My theory is that he's reacting to that. Some Adam fans have been talking about the Cook single a bit amongst themselves, sure, but I don't think people have been tweeting Adam about it. |

I am seeking refuge.... I am tired...averaged 3 hours of sleep this past four weeks and I am ready to crash but cannot ... not just yet...have to finish this work....
The pretty here in A'topia, is one of those that sustains me.... Thanks all...
By the time Adam II comes out... that will be like blood to a vampire ... i thirst...
in meantime... I am nourishing on vids like this... PASSOVER...
and the lady's comment at the end... it seems funny now ... but back then it was Adam's reality... to get a paid singing job ... bar mitzvah included.... Adam deserves all the success he is accomplishing now.... I am a happy fan...

I dont say that fans have tweeting their angst to Adam, definitely not,and yes maybe he doesnt google himself or not going to boards but like you said he's embraced twitter fully and I honestly think he is lurking and sees the conversations and he saw what happened yesterday. Fans tweet him every day that they're excited about the album, why did he choose yesterday to talk about patience? I also said this is just my opinion I'm probably wrong.
