I really feel for Adam. But I'm sure he is going to get well soon. He seems to be very resilient and to have an extraordinary immune system!
The following might have absolutely nothing to do with his current sickness, but touching the hands of a bunch of people, as he has been doing during Radio Gaga, is very risky business, especially during the winter flu season. Most people living in the Northern hemisphere are pretty much aware of that risk... All Adam needs to do afterwards is to touch the corner of one his eyes, for a nasty bug or virus to potentially find its way in his body.
Fortunately, French kissing has not been introduced in that song routine! ;-)

At least, if he is sick as it appears, he's in a country with good medical care and people around to make sure he gets what he needs.
