Hi everybody! Thank you for your comments regarding the 420 topic and what happened afterwards. I was really taken aback by one of the responses I got (seems that Cassie the moderator has actually removed the end part of it now) and it was sort of the last straw that broke the camel's back... today has not been the best day for me as a whole So, I decided to delete my account since I thought I had totally messed up... :( However, I still kept following the comments that appeared here and since things didn't seem to be as bad as I though, after all, I decided to come back. I have enjoyed the discussions here and I hope I can be a part of them also in the future. Sorry about all the mess here - like I said, this has not been my day at all... :( Hugs to you all for your positive messages! - Mia - Glad you came back! I'll send you a PM in a minute (or two...).

www.realitywanted.com/newsitem/4205-american-idol-season-10-conference-call-with-executive-producer-ken-warwickAmerican Idol Season 10: Conference Call With Executive Producer Ken Warwick Posted on 04/20/2011 by Gina in American Idol and Cast Interviews .... Q. The last few male winners on Idol haven't had a great track record. Does that concern you?A. Ken: The answer is I don't know. I make a television show. At the end of that show, I hopefully give the record company a person who has a following of 20-30 million people. What they do from then on has nothing to do with me. I move on to the next year's show, holding auditions, and putting the show together. Has the best person always won? We know from history... you could say that Kris Allen hasn't really broken but there's always a hell of a buzz about Adam Lambert. From the top five, there's usually a star in there somewhere. It's just a question of who picks them up and what songs they release. There are lots of Idols who have become stars. I'm pretty sure that whoever comes out of this season is gonna break. I'm really confident that the winner has a future. ....

And yeah - over-protective-cultlike-mother-rush-to-his-defense type fans have ruined other artists to the public/press - kinda turned them into laughingstocks or jokes and caused great harm PR-wise - example Clay Aiken - and I would hate for that to happen to Adam. :-/ Sorry - I don't buy it. I think Clay's problems had more to do with his music not being radio friendly. If this really dictated how the press/dj's/etc treated an artist, Gaga wouldn't get any play at all. Her little mosters will go after anyone who doesn't worship at her feet. What about Beyonce's fans - the stuff they were tweeting at her label (Sony? Capital?) the other day make the BSC Glamberts look like fluffy little kittens! Or even the C. Brown fans who blast anyone who dares mention their guy's criminal record. I also have to believe the Beiber fans are the kings/queens of group fan organized assults and it sure hasn't hurt him. When DJs/PDs claim that the "fans" are causing them to not play I think it is nothing but an excuse so they don't have to flat out admit that they just don't want to play the artist for other reasons of their own - whether that reason is bias, lack of payola or actually has a sound business reason. ITA- I don't buy it either! Clay turned himself into a laughingstock. He was his own worst enemy. IDG the comparisons at all. The DJs/PDs don't fool me. They have no problem with the BSC fans of Beyonce, Chris Brown or Gaga. They play what they want to play- they don't care about the artist's fans, drug-use, delusional mental rants or their law-breaking activities. Sorry- I just don't buy that a bunch of fan comments would keep DJs from playing a hit song. Now, something like the fact that the hit song is sung by a gay man... >:(
