Y'all know that, above all else, I am about THE VOICE, and therefore, extremely concerned that Adam do everything possible to protect it and preserve it and use it to its best advantage. My initial knee jerk reaction to the "pot" smoking and references was, "Oh, no!" I talked myself off that ledge by reasoning that Adam has smoked pot for many years, starting at least as far back as Germany in the "Hair" days. To date, there is no auditory evidence that his voice has been affected in any way. Nor have we seen any arrest warrants for driving under the influence or possession. That leads me to conclude that I can trust Adam to be smart about smoking. To know how much, when, where and with whom. Plus, tho' I know it is illegal, I cannot see it is more harmful or dangerous than other legal substances that many indulge in. I cannot find it in me to judge him any more harshly for toking than for having a few drinks in a club. JMO. Cassie, whatever you say or do, it never occurs to me that your purpose is anything but the preservation of all things good in Adam, his career, and his life. cassie, I was worried too .... |

It still defies all my logic, why this man's happiness makes me so damn happy! :-/  I think it's because we all hope that someone like him is rewarded with all the happiness life has to offer. This. Exactly! |

hmmm - a clear, deep difference between Adam and Gaga - when WWFM was the subject of a parady, Adam thought it was funny and even tweeted it out to all of us. Being able to laugh at yourself is a very attractive trait! I bet Adam would LOVE to have Weird Al do a parody of one of his songs  |

I am impressed, as always, by the ninja-ing, but this article is from 2007. Where does it live it's life that Adam saw it today? He always makes me so curious with the random things he throuws out there. |

Hi everybody! Thank you for your comments regarding the 420 topic and what happened afterwards. I was really taken aback by one of the responses I got (seems that Cassie the moderator has actually removed the end part of it now) and it was sort of the last straw that broke the camel's back... today has not been the best day for me as a whole  So, I decided to delete my account since I thought I had totally messed up... :( However, I still kept following the comments that appeared here and since things didn't seem to be as bad as I though, after all, I decided to come back. I have enjoyed the discussions here and I hope I can be a part of them also in the future. Sorry about all the mess here - like I said, this has not been my day at all... :( Hugs to you all for your positive messages! - Mia - Mia - saw you leave earlier; really pleased you decided to come back. This really is the most tolerant place in the universe, as well as informative and witty (I learned how to fold fitted sheets here).  |

Adam appears to have a lot of passionate fans which will help propel him in his career. However, the trick is not to let the passion turn toward lashing out at anyone who appears to slight the artist in any way. What it ends up doing is leaving behind a trail of enemies for the artist. A lot of times dislike of an artist's fan base turns to dislike of the artist himself. I know Adam's fans mean well but they are getting a reputation and it is starting to work against Adam. It's best to ignore the implied or explicit snubs or slights toward Adam. Reacting to them causes more harm than good. I say all this only because I have worked behind the scenes in radio & tv for many years and have witnessed it first hand. I like Adam. I think he is a true and rare talent and I wish him nothing but success. I do however get concerned when I hear my colleagues talk about his "obnoxious" fans (not my words). When you see a negative article it's best not to respond and above all don't pass it around and give the site hits. It serves to fuel the fire. I hope you take this email in the spirit it was meant - helpful behind the scenes guidance."
