Hi guys! I'm so glad the show went well; better than well, it seems! I feel like such a traitor, but I could not bring myself to listen to the stream, knowing Adam's voice might not be in tip top form. It's just too nerve wracking for me, I worry too much...mostly about the audience's reaction. Which is ridiculous, but I can't help it. I even avoided twitter all day too! So I'm thrilled to check in now and find that he gave a superb show & the audience loved him. Trust me... I hear ya! I was a total nervous wreck, too!!  It's getting so bad for me I almost don't want to watch things in real time! #stupidbuttrue  #letmeknowafterit'sgonewell |

Adam's illness has me backsliding! LOL :D |

This concert is so special..Adam is so amazing and his performance is just amazing ..I am in awe of Adam Lambert...he sounded amazing...Bravo

Trust me... I hear ya! I was a total nervous wreck, too!! yes, that was pretty much me this afternoon! I was busy at work and couldn't listen to the stream - but all morning I was checking my phone to see if the show was a go - then once it started I had to keep checking in to see if all was ok - basically sitting on pins and needles hoping for the best - and of course he had it - he was on his game - why did I think it might be any different |

I say this as a Queen fan, and a Roger and Brian fan --- I just can't seen them performing Queen songs with anyone else than the 6 people on the stage right now. (Even Spike.) This show has just gotten so much tighter and better as it as going along and they are now anticipating each other and compensating. It is a far cry from what was an impressive first real performance at the 2011 EMAs* and the 2012 mini tour. I am so happy this collaboration happened. * ETA: No Rufus in 2011. They are a true family up there. They help each other out and bring each other up when one is down. They really love each other; it's so obvious. |
