Q3 or anyone????? Do you think the DJ's has been sent his single for review???? Or is it a given the Warner has enough influence, the single will at least be given a spin Houselady...our 'go to girl' for "polls" did you see this new poll I found? www.mixphiladelphia.com/pages/brackets/hollywood-overachievers/#ixzz3QjnzCqVPQ3...do you think it is important or should we not bother voting on it? This is a poll that probably means nothing. But at least Adam is in great company -- look at who he is paired with!

36 states now have marriage equality. That is a fact, not my opinion. My opinion about that is that it is happening faster than i ever dreamed it would. TV, sports, music have moved forward in leaps and bounds. I see no reason to not be optimistic. I get that marriage equality is racing forward (with some states' popular "no" votes overturned by courts). Things are changing faster than I expected too. But I'm talking about regular old society (people), not laws. There were plenty of people who remained (and remain) racially prejudiced after laws during the Civil Rights Movement required integration. Our opinions might be shaded by where we live too.Possibly, but New England is a very liberal area, politically, No?

Hope that Adam doesn't have to do the radio shuck & jive this time around when PDs don't play him. What surprised me about that Max Martin Billboard article was the comment that Adam came to the collaboration with "no music." But maybe they stated that in order to emphasize MM's fingerprints all over the album. Adam has gotten airplay for his lead and follow-up singles for both album cycles. So no reason to expect him not to get a shot this time. Adam said that he played a demo for Max Martin -- so he at least had some ideas when he first met with Max. Perhaps they said that Adam, Max and WBR started their collaboration with no music because it is true. The one thing I am sure of, Adam is always Adam. He even brought ideas to GLEE and Queen, so I am sure that Adam's fingerprints, heart and soul will be all over his album. [ I'm sure the new album will be Adam, was just musing on the statement in the interview. He's said before he lives for collaboration, in the studio. It's evident on stage too. I can't see a downside to the collaboration with MM and Shellback at all. I know some don't like WWFM but his voice sounds pretty great on it and not auto-tuned at all. And that was a leftover track. So customized songs with Adam and for Adam and also by Adam, really curious.

This is a poll that probably means nothing. But at least Adam is in great company -- look at who he is paired with! I know Q3 Adam vs Katy Perry and there are some other pretty big name musicians there....it's gotten my competitive juices going!LOL

Here is the way that I have decided to view the Max Martin executive producing gig for The Original High. For the last many number of years, his job has been to make mediocre singers (excluding Pink of course) sound like they rule the world of pop music and he has been extremely successful. Max Martin sounds like an intelligent knowledgeable man, but perhaps he has been waking up every morning with nothing new to anticipate, his millions and accolades have become ho-hum. Max Martin needed a challenge. He wrote the book on formulaic pop but can he still create something new and dynamic, even, dare I say it, dangerous. To do that he needed a talent. Enter Adam. I hope MM is up for the job. Max Martin has worked with a number of artists who can sing other than Pink. A few examples..... Cyndi Lauper - Into The Nightlife (this was a club hit in 2008) youtu.be/O5UCUusl9joJessie J - Domino youtu.be/UJtB55MaoD0Avril Lavigne - What The Hell
youtu.be/tQmEd_UeeIk
Kelly Clarkson - My Life Would Suck Without You
youtu.be/cRM70Jw7F4MI really do not think Max Martin needed to work with Adam to add any excitement to his life. Adam is very lucky to be working with Max and Shellback. And Shellback's involvement should not be ignored. He has worked on a ton of songs with Max Martin. And several major hits without Max including "Payphone" and "Moves like Jagger" by Maroon 5 and "She Doesn't Mind" by Sean Paul. He is an excellent composer and I think may be vital to TOH because Adam's songwriting strength in with lyrics.

Has anyone seen a mp3 for the Munich concert? I would love to make a CD of the individual songs. Dancygeorgia...do you have mp3's of the individual songs to the concerts you attended or any of the other ones? Could you PM me information..I have yours that are no broken down into individual song. They are great but I really like to make a separate CD that I can take out some songs (the middle part of the concerts) for a separate CD. Thanks.

I have two words in the Max Martin discussion! P!NK Funhouse. Best Pop album so far! From Max and a singer that really sings. I am expecting TOH to be Adam's Funhouse! ❤️ I agree, love this album -- and the Max Martin produced tracks are great. Max Martin co-wrote/produced 4 tracks on Funhouse including the lead single, "So What". But he was not Executive Producer for Funhouse, P!nk was the EP. Max Martin is the Executive Producer of TOH. He has only been solo EP of 3 albums. It is rare and a huge commitment for him to take this whole project on. *** <Not related to mys*&@^#r50's post quoted above, but to some of the comments in the thread.> Regarding all the contemporary pop angst -- this album will be created and produced for commercial appeal -- that is to get played on the radio and to sell. There could easily be $3 million tied up in TOH, so while I do not know what it will sound like, and I am sure it will be different, I hope this is a mainstream pop album that gets tons of airplay. ETA: I remain incredibly impressed that Max Martin and Shellback are working on Adam's entire album. The only other similar situation is Taylor Swift's 1989. It is a huge vote of confidence in Adam and his talent --- as a singer and songwriter. And within the music industry, particularly radio, there is no better producer to work with. No one. Adam really deserves this. I can't wait for TOH! I think it is a huge vote of confidence that Max and Shellback were the ones who offered the idea of being EP's on the album. This was not a case of the Record Company throwing money at them to entice them on to the project this was them WANTING to be involved. Not to say they aren't getting big money but the perspective matters a great deal I believe.

Dancy just posted this on Twitter. I think she has separated other shows into indiv. tracks as well. I haven't DLd yet, but think Leeds may be really good qualilty. I think some are MP3s, some are FLACs maybe and these Nottingham's are M4as. What surprised me about that Max Martin Billboard article was the comment that Adam came to the collaboration with "no music." I think it made sense. If I'm not mistaken the chronology was like this:
March 22, 2013: End of The We Are Family Tour in Helsinki and he's back in the US.
April - June 2013: Adam was ready to write new music for A3, meeting and conversation with RCA went nowhere.
July 08, 2013: THR article i.e. All 80's album cover.
July 12, 2013: THR article i.e. Adam parts ways with RCA.
Within 24hrs after the parts ways announcement, he got a call from Warner Music and Adam reached out to Max Martin. So I think it's possible that he didn't have music when he came to the collaborations. He may have ideas what he wants to make, but he didn't have material at that time.
