Nope. If anyone feels bothered enough to comment, they should be part of a group of *extremely polite* fans who who merely happen to drop off some links that the author may have missed. No heat necessary. And no the snark won't disappear. But those who might not track Queen might think that "Whoa, check it out" versus "Yeah, that's so lame" #myopinion ETA: Or what Q3 said. I didn't know it was old <shrug> I just don't think posting links to reviews on articles that are less than complimentary towards Adam does him any good. It makes his fans look reactionary and defensive. Not everyone is going to love him and not everyone has to love him and IMO it's time that Glamberts start letting everyone have their own opinion without trying to "change/convert" people to their way of thinking.
Adam has an excellent team of professional people on his side. He doesn't (again IMO) need a "fan army" of online fans who jump on every comment/article to correct the writer's point of view.
I agree with everything you say here except the first sentence. I think it is good to see all sides of the equation, the over reacting by the she-wolves is the problem. I would love to see it stop, but don't imagine it will ever happen. It never fails to amaze me that someone can take a review that is 99.99% glowing and trash the author over some petty point. Some people just refuse to see the damage they cause.

One very flattering article recently said that Adam had lots of experience prior to Idol, including work on Broadway. A fan corrected that, saying he never appeared on Broadway (right, just a Broadway touring production). Other fans feel it necessary to clarify that Adam was born in Indianapolis, but grew up in CA. What the fuck does it matter? It's embarrassing for us rational, reasonable, intelligent, sane Glamberts.

I think people should feel free to comment or not comment on an article without judgment from other fans. If an online article has a Comments section, why shouldn't people comment? Does it do any good? Nope. Does it do any harm? Nope. It's dust in the wind, just as the articles themselves are. But if anyone wishes to contradict an erroneous fact or impression in an article, I say go for it.
Do some of the comments make me cringe a little? Sure. But one of the rules of Adamtopia is "Don't define the proper way for an Adam fan to behave."

Thank you soooooooooo much...these are wonderful!!!! I'm listening now and it's so pure. I love both full performance and the individual songs. You are welcome! Both are the same exact audio recording, just one is split into individual songs.

I am going to somewhat disagree. Please note that I am now talking IN GENERAL and not about today's old article. I am also giving my PERSONAL OPINION and not representing any official policy of this board (#legaldisclaimer). And to top it off I'm bored in a waiting room so I'm going to comment on a topic I normally wouldn't (#you'vebeenwarned) There are times when comments to an article show that people are paying attention. That people care about the topic or individual being discussed. And if those comments are reasonable, rational, and factual I see nothing wrong with them. Adam fans have a reputation for being passionate yet nice. I SEE THIS AS A POSITIVE. Loyalty without rudeness signals that Adam is cared about without pissing people off. People who aren't cared about don't get comments. And I'm done fighting my cell phone's stupid autocorrect, so ending here.
