Even though he is sick his body is on tour schedule. With only an hour or so to go until what would have been tour time his adrenaline levels are probably surging in anticipation. Bono jokes that his wife doesn't let him in the house for at least two weeks after a tour because by whatever would be show time he's climbing on tables and swinging from chandeliers. |

My friend Claudia has pointed out that there has been a bit of a miscommunication somewhere. Apparently they have quoted me as saying something like “Stereograms are nothing but two identical images put side by side” !!! Well, nothing could be further from the truth, of course, so it’s extremely unlikely I would have said this, even in my least lucid moments ! It is the subtle differences between those two images which make the magic of three-dimensional photography happen. So, allowing for difficulaties in translation, I hope this doesn’t spoil anyone’s stereoscopic education, or give me a bad name ! But for the rest … thanks La Republica ! and I hope we meet up very soon without mishap in Milan ! Cheers Bri

Plus, bed rest or not, unless he's on death's door there's only so much anyone can sleep. Been there done that, ETA Maybe he'll get so bored he'll have a Twitter party! (Not trying to make light of the situation...sad for the fans not getting to see the show and for Adam and the band having to cancel.) |
