I think Adam looks like His Dad around the eyes and cheekbones. I don't like it any better on Eber. I hate this whole look on Adam, least favorite jeans, least favorite jacket, least favorite jewelry. He looks good from the nose up! (Hides under rock) Look at the progress Adam has made socially in the last 2 years. Two years ago it was considered scandilous that Adam was coming out of a club holding hands with his boyfriend (Drake). He is now being treated like every other celebrity out with a date. No shock that his date is of the same sex. It is getting better! LOL! I think we need a big rock because there are more of us behind it that we care to admit. Hehe. I think Adam has made progress socially but I don't think it was ever scandalous that he was handholding with Drake. It was *news* because it happened before the RS issue came out so, technically, that was Adam's public coming out. That's when PH backed off and said that was 'enough' for him (meaning that Adam had finally come out). IIRC, after that whenever Drake was mentioned it was done in a very matter-of-fact way.

LOL - I found this on LJ. The bulge isn't quite right, but the rest sums up the look for me.

MILAJAM MILA JAM The WARRIOR CELEBRATION last nite with Adam Lambert!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=A09DPbwxd2M25 seconds ago Uploaded by milajammusic on Apr 21, 2011 Mila Jam kicks off the release of her new single "WARRIOR" with Adam Lambert and friends @ Industry Bar NYC MILAJAM MILA JAM Hey Glamberts, Check it out!!! #warrior, #adamlambert www.youtube.com/watch?v=A09DPbwxd2M2 minutes ago I feel kind of irked by that whole thing. I get that Adam was there for her release party and good for her but I clicked that link thinking that Adam was featured in the video somehow and not just at the end in a photo that I'd already seen. I guess it's a compliment to the power of Adam's fanbase that so many people use us for hits but it's still bothersome to me because it almost cheapens the things that are worthwhile and worthy of our support when we get suckered into giving someone hits like that. popdust.com/2011/04/21/american-idol-tries-to-modernize/4. James Durbin. James sang Muse because he felt that it would be his first chance to be modern all competition, which, a, people like Naima and Paul didn’t seem to have a problem with this in previous weeks, and b, Muse’s super-bombastic British arena rock is a throwback to the ’90s at the very latest. (Not to mention that his outfit looked like he’d stumbled in from My Chemical Romance’s summer-stock production of Oliver!, and he was accompanied by a drumline this week after getting the Zakk Wylde assist last week. The producers really want him to stick around, no?) He had a couple of bum notes before he started screeching the chorus, and his performance left me wondering one thing: How hard do you think he lobbied to sing Adam Lambert’s “For Your Entertainment”?

Not Monte's daughter. The 2 older girls did not go. I think this little girl is related to Alisan Porter in some way. She tweeted out several photos of her that week. Perhaps a niece?

For the record, I FLOVE this jacket. It's from Adam's "birthday suit." I've always admired the details on it. The gold stripe that runs through it, the detailing on the hem, the small leather strip. Love these jeans, too ( a lot.) Not sure they go the best with this jacket, but I've always loved the way these jeans fit in the front. ;D Oh, and I am on team "love the goatee" because if Adam looked the same for more than a few weeks, I'd start to wonder what was wrong! LOL!

I just finished watching (parts) of last night's AI. UPRISING is one of my favorite songs so I was interested in James' rendition. It's not like it was horrible, though the drummers in band hats were a little weird and the screams sucked, and I find it hard to explain how I feel about his voice, but let me try. First of all, I know Adam has me spoiled, but all I could think while listening to James was there is no depth in the notes. The closest example is a bowl of ice cream. Adam is a huge, heaping tablespoonful that you put in your mouth and savor the taste, the texture, the body, the chill as it slides down your throat. James is like running your tongue around the bowl to get what is coating the bottom. It is the same flavor, but it is lacking so much of what makes ice cream a special treat.

jambajim jim cantiello My "Idol" recap of 21st Century Song Week* is up! on.mtv.com/fEpDeW (*theme for Scotty was Songs From 10 Years Before You Were Born) 6 minutes ago James Durbin Song: Muse's "Uprising" Verdict: Apocalypse Howl Rumor has it, two years ago the "Idol" wardrobe people pressured Adam Lambert to wear a jacket that he didn't like. He was so angry, he did everything he could to destroy it before they went live. He crumpled it up into a ball, he lined Scott McIntyre's toilet with it, he even shoved the epaulettes down the "Idol" mansion garbage disposal. Well, James Durbin recovered said jacket and proudly wore it on "Idol" Wednesday night.
