I just decided to go to the Krakow concert, bought a GA ticket, need a train/bus ticket for 6h and a hotel ... and I am giddy with happiness!!!! good for you... I am in the US and it is all I could do to restrain myself from going -- the timing and work, parents, was not a good time, but I am sure I may regret this some day. I will definitely be there at Adam's solo concert or future QAL though... life is too short to miss these opportunities. have a wonderful time

Milan review: www.tuttonotizie.net/cultura/2015/02/13/6024/queenadam-lambert-a-milano-la-resurrezione-della-regina/TN (Google translation)Queen + Adam Lambert in Milan. The resurrection of the QueenBy FRANCESCO CUCCU - Sat Jul 13 7:56 pmMILAN - In the official symbol of the Queen, born in 1971, Freddie Mercury drew the zodiac signs of the four members of the group to surround a large central Q, with a crown inside. The entire composition was completed by a giant phoenix, a symbol of eternity and resurrection from the ashes.
Nothing was more prophetic, since the death of frontman in 1991 and retire to private life of bassist John Deacon, reduced to ashes the band.
Today Brian May, guitarist, and Roger Taylor, drummer, both founding members of the British group, have found a way to resurrect the band from its ashes, finding in a virtuous American boy, Adam Lambert, the perfect tool to rebuild a machine concerts that with the disappearance of Freddie seemed over for good.
The Queen + Adam Lambert met and trained in 2009-2010, following the participation of May and Taylor to X-Factor to play a few songs with the voice of the Queen one of the finalists, the same Lambert.
From there began a series of events that led to the maturation stage of the vocal abilities and performance of Lambert, which soon was perfectly placed in the gears of a band that still had something to give to their fans. A tour of the very few European dates in 2012 and a huge in North America, Asia and Oceania in 2014 rekindled the passion of the fans for a band whose songs have made the history of rock and world music, staying in the collective imagination with countless timeless classics.
Strengthened by this success, they decided to embark on a European tour in 2015, which opened with a performance by the London streamed worldwide by BBC New Year's Eve, and will end at the end of February. Many dates in the UK, many European countries touched, including Italy, with a date that will remain in the history of the band's concerts. The return of Champions, accompanied by the young frontman took place in Milan, in the Assago Forum, 10 February. So many questions, starting with the ability to Lambert, believed to be a portion of the fan unfit to play that role and, indeed, usurper of the throne of Mercury, up to the physical form of the nearly seventy May and Taylor.
To fuel the fire of doubt and controversy adds all'ultim'ora bronchitis that hit the same Lambert, forcing the group to cancel the date of Brussels and cast shadows on a possible cancellation also of the Italian.
So it was not, the concert took place regularly and sold out of the box office is not the only point of the group's success: the band proved to be in great shape and bronchitis did not stop Lambert from making virtuosity and trills High school, which convinced even the most skeptical about it being able to play that role from the point of view of the extension voice, but also the theatricality of gestures, performed with the utmost respect of the late Mercury and faces to his utter celebration .
Lambert convinces, excites, gives freshness and novelty also the older songs of the group, even performing a duet moving in Bohemian Rhapsody with the "ghost" of Freddie in this big screen.
It also demonstrates humble thanking the audience for having "... given the chance to celebrate a historic group and the unique and irreplaceable Freddie Mercury."
Taylor, accompanied on drums by his son Rufus, proves in good shape, filling a rhythm section made complicated by the advance of years, while May is unleashed in solos, powerful, precise, theatrical and sometimes exaggerated, moving on stage as a kid and thrilling all in the acoustic section of the show, performing a Love Of My Life (in duet with the usual ghost of Mercury) which saw participation from start to finish singing the very warm Italian public, repeatedly thanked the band for outstanding participation during songs .
To complete the training, replacing bassist Deacon, he performed a precise and virtuoso Neil Farclough, trusted collaborator of May, while the keyboards, an old acquaintance of the Queen since the Wembley concert with Freddie in the 80s: the steel Spike Edney.
The supergroup is in the evening of grace and gives the audience a performance that will go down in the annals, topped by an exaggerated stage: a large Q Mobile framed a large screen high-definition and is going to complete in a walkway leading artists at the center of the parterre , to become in contact with the public. A sublimate the majestic stage, is to point out a spectacular lighting system that interacted to emphasize the many steps of the majestic songs played. An experience that involved people of all ages, in the sign of a generational handover of the music of the young Queen yesterday (70s-80s) to those of today (90 -2000), to testimony of the immortality of the phoenix that has been able to rise from its ashes. God Bless Queen.
Francesco Cuccu

I pulled the "virtuous" Adam Lambert's Trespassing DVD out of a drawer today and listened again to one of the best albums I have ever heard. Will we ever find out how many Trespassing albums were sold worldwide? Does anyone know how to look these things up? There are a lot of people who have discovered Adam since QAL started touring, and I can't help thinking some of those new people will go out and buy his albums to see what they had missed. I bet bamafan could find out. She seems to have access to a lot of info or she is one of the best detectives on atop and knows where to go to find out things. I never miss her posts.
That review that referred to Adam as the "virtuous Adam Lambert" brought tears to my eyes. It was one of the better reviews I have read.

I am also very interested in country split if possible.
