BUT....yes, but .....Obviously in the minority here ... I prefer the impact on the words and the song .... being sung his usual way of emphasizing those two portions of the song.

I was too dumbstruck to utter a sound. A first for me. I got a "why are you giggling like a fool?" from the hubs. what can I say? Atopers falling over in Rapture, totally dumbstruck and you giggle??? My sis does that. Seriously. Giggles. Right on, Graciejane..equal opportunity phantasmic song. Anybody make whale sounds? |

I honestly thought Adam was going to get sucked right up into that disco ball and we'd never see him again. I respect your point, bb. This was a true surprise. And coming on the heels of bronchitis. Never saw it coming. I don't think I've ever heard his voice ~do some of those riffs and those notes together. Ever.  |

Actually, the note that absolutely blew me away was day before yesterday. WWTLF - Adam soared and I have never, ever, heard such purity.
How can I compare with what has happened today?
It's all incomparable; unbelievable. Soaring. Searing. Just beyond what anyone would ever think to hear; or experience.
