Ok now he's just showing off. LOL. Or trying out his voice again -- kind of like driving a Ferrari after it has had a tune-up? I was mostly kidding. I think your point is probably a bit part of it - let's take this baby out and see what she can do. Adam singing reminds me a lot of Federer in his prime playing tennis. There was just about nothing he couldn't do with a tennis racket and he made super difficult things look easy. And sometimes when he wanted to shift the dynamic of a match he'd punch things a bit more, take the running volley or passing shot with a bit of extra emphasis because he could. So perhaps as someone noted above part of it was trying to "wake up" the audience. I know i would have been after that (either awake or stunned at least)... |

I got a "why are you giggling like a fool?" from the hubs. what can I say? Atopers falling over in Rapture, totally dumbstruck and you giggle??? My sis does that. Seriously. Giggles. Right on, Graciejane..equal opportunity phantasmic song. Anybody make whale sounds? I am not musically inclined in any way, hearing him sing like that just feels good and so I giggle. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |

The game of Adam is a symphony.
I think he knows just what his voice can do.
He loves playing with it! He loves making it sound like a guitar, or an exquisite Ferrari. Or a bird. Or a whale.
His instrument can synthesize or morph or masturbate. A unique, never before experienced, yet to be understood tool for bringing the masses to its knees.
We wail; he has it; he has us.

Oh. Vivlite. Thank you. We always look for validation; for the person that hears what we hear. I just don't know what to make of this! I always knew it. I've been certain of Adam's unworldly excellence from the beginning. Now, it's for us to see and experience the rest of the world finding out. I think Adam knew from the beginning - that if he allowed his talent to be unleashed - it would create a storm like none of us have imagined. He said it; he envisioned it; after looking to the stars at Burning Man. So, now, here we are. Before we're done, Adam will be recognized as the greatest talent; the greatest vocal artist;the greatest performer the world has ever known. When I hear that voice I know we are right. Bring on the challengers - - - I'm not simple. I'm looking at the talent. And I'm seeing, feeling, yelling, flailing, soaring! Renewed! Living in amazement; that I've seen such profound, simple, otherworldly talent. Truly, it's a gift from God or the universe or some sort of winged angel. Adam Lambert is not of us. He belongs, rightly so, in the cosmos and the stars and the Milky Way and the dreams of every soul who tastes the magic and the mystery of this world. I bow to his mastery. And, I know he would think all of this as folly. He is, after all, just a singer. ... I love your post! You always express yourself so beautifully!  |

So I saved it to my endless QAL playlists (which I'm gonna sort out one of these days), but put your name on it so I might not lose it... I wish you had been at every single concert. Seriously, if anyone wants to learn how to record good audio for any upcoming TOH concerts, I can make good recommendations!!! But the equipment I use costs about $400 USD, although you can get almost as good audio for about half that. |
