Very nicely sung! No tension at all in the note. It is an Gb5, and he usually kisses it very briefly in one of his final runs, starting with an Eb5, popping up ever so briefly to Gb5 and then back down. Tonight, he popped right up to the Gb5 without the intermediate glory note. It's the highest note he sings in the show, and he sometimes sounds a little squeezed. Or sometimes omits it. This one was particularly good sounding. |

jeez....I kept telling myself that I don't need to watch every new video of EVERY new QAL performance because I've seen those songs sung a zillion times..... then Adam goes and does something unique and spectacular (as he does in almost every show) and I'm suckered right back in. He is fascinating and endlessly entertaining!  |
