Love it when you can see the arm freckles! More than 3300 x 3100, another candidate for cassie's calendar. I think of cassie every time I see a really big, really good Adam photo. Need to start saving to my own calendar file. Gotta leave room for all of the TOH pics, though. |

I'm always uncomfortable downloading apps to my computer and know Dancygeorgia has mentioned before to be careful because other things can be added when you DL something. But if this DL is important for A3 then I'll do it. Adam will need lots and lots of people to stream his music -- fans will not have a lot of influence on Shazam or the major streaming services -- they are too big, they have listening histories. Shazam is an smartphone application that lets users identifying unfamiliar songs. Music executives use it as an early-detection system for hits. It is too big to be influenced by 5,000 fans using intended actions: They have a business association with Warners Music Group. Shazam is not the only app that is used to see what is hot. The streaming music services are perhaps more important (Spotify, Pandora). I recommend reading this excellent article about Shazam and how it is used: www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2014/12/the-shazam-effect/382237/ Spotify users average 110 minutes of listening time per day. That's 669 hours a year. There are 60 million Spotify users. Do the math. Music has to be popular beyond core committed fans. Schemes like playing Adam's new single on repeat will not work because the analysts look for who is listening, how many unique users, their profile, what else they play, etc, etc. When it is time for fans to do something, Adam and/or Shoshanna will ask up. Until then, my recommendation is to relax.
ETA: I feel a bit like a broken record but remember when fans came up with the YouTube playing on repeat scheme for Trespassing era songs? It did not have any effect except to waste people's time. If we want to help, we first need to see what the promotion is focused on, and what they are doing. Then we MIGHT be able to see how fans where fans can help. But the biggest thing fans can do IMO is to spread the music -- recommend it to their friends and families, post it on Facebook, etc. If 10,000 fans pass on Adam's music to just 10 people each that is 100,000 new listens. ETA #2: If you are interested in a song ID application like Shazam -- SoundHound is a superior application and works better IMO. They have 230 million users now -- www.soundhound.com/ |

Just got a pristine copy of CLASSIC ROCK - FEB. 2015- issue 206 from Barnes & Noble for $11.99 + tax. After reading one of our members got a damaged copy through the mail, I decided to try B&N. They have about 4 copies per store according to one of the clerks and the Feb. issue is the one they have now. I called in to reserve a copy and paid by credit card over the phone and they held for 2 days till I could get out due to poor weather. LOVE IT. Thank you for letting me know it was in. I had given up hope as I tried to get it last week after someone said they had it but my B&N had none.  Today they had lots of copies.  Does anyone know if Adam is the first idol to appear on the cover of a Rock Magazine twice? |

I rely on AToppers to point me toward the best large photos and freckle photos. Just stumbled on this one. LOVE IT! It also shows how even when we think he is not wearing make-up, he is. We almost never see these freckles, and they look so hot/sweet/natural/human/perfect.  ETA: I keep trying to scroll to see the rest of his face! |

This image must be a few years old - he hasn't tweezed his brows like this for a while... and yes I feel completely weird that I know that. Oh and yes there is also the hair cut which in Adams case means you can basically date something to almost the month. |

There have been a lot of reviewers who say Adam is great but they usually say that the Brian solo is too long. There have been some reviewers who have complimented Brian's solo but they usually are the "but he's not Freddie" reviews. To get a Adam is great and Brian's solo is great in the same review makes me very happy! |
