So, we seem to have a side-profile theme going on, right? a) NYE BBC concert: AOBTD at 3:05. Very much a planned pose. Adam on his center spot, head down, camera man positioned in place. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dP2elcrzCbgb) That great full body black and white shot with the head turned sideways...maybe somebody can help me find the pic. I have not been able to dig it up. Will add it, if I still find it. c) OUT magazine voting competition uses the side profile. Maybe, we wrongly blamed them for using that pic. It is a cropped head-shot from the pic above that I cannot find. The cropped picture does not have the same magic as the picture in b), so we thought, OUT magazine editors were to blame, but maybe that is not the case. This competition does not matter, market-wise. Such voting games are for insiders and fans anyways. And Adam is sitting at 28 %, so there is that. But still, there is that profile shot, head slightly turned down. d) Enter today's instagram picture by the Shazam-guy.  At this point, I don't think it is accidental anymore, there is a plan. But what it means, and how it ties to TOH, I don't have the foggiest idea. Adam spoke about a more organic sound, and he gives us butterflies to go along with that. Ok, Adam, I will need a bit more help here. Maybe It's because of Adam's perfect profile |

But if this DL is important for A3 then I'll do it. |

Ok, Adam, I will need a bit more help here. Interesting observation! Makes sense as we had two album covers straight on so the gorgeous profile would be a nice change! Other observation from this picture: minimal makeup, no nail polish, very understated accessorizing, leather pants...overall - high class sophisticated look! LOVE IT! Wow, Nica, you are GOOD -- I didn't even notice he's not wearing nail polish!! As for the look, absolutely gorgeous, and I'm in love with that shirt..... |

After many years of reading and thoroughly enjoying Adamtopia, I've decided to register and make a first post in happy anticipation of The Original High. In terms of the production style, genre or theme of the music, I've got no predictions or preferences - as long as it produces a big clutch of hooks and hits of course. Can't wait for Adam to debut/promo his new music and I find myself strangely excited at the thought of getting back to the mysterious, but fascinating, matter of radio adds, rotations, spins, bullets, chart positions, sales figures etc. Many thanks to all whose work and input make Adamtopia so enjoyable and informative. Don't have time to look, but didn't Warner Bros. post it in an Instagram? Maybe the S. Africa group. Happy hunting!

If you decide to download the app I think it's best to go to the Shazam site - I don't think it can get more official than that. They have several options for different operating systems, devices etc. |
