Being vocally challenged I can never remember what the top of his range is we've heard live? And yes I know range is not the most important thing :-) No, range is certainly not the most important thing. But when you have a range like Adam's, it is damned impressive, isn't it? What is the top of his range live? For 2014-15 QAL, the F#5 is the highest he goes. During WWL on the GNT tour he hit a very brief Bb5 a couple of times. That is two full tones higher than the F#. He has videos pre-Idol with some sustained, ringing A5s, and many G5s (a tone and a half, and a semi-tone higher than the F#5). To most people all that is gobbly-gook. In lay person's terms, the average range for each voice type is two octaves, or 15 steps. (Untrained singers may have significantly less than 15 steps, and pop songs generally stick with 8-10 steps from low to high in a song.) Adam's F#5 is almost exactly 50% higher than a baritone's highest note. It is 25% higher than a tenor's highest note. It is the very top of an alto's range. The A5s we have heard from Adam are the top notes for a mezzo-soprano, and the Bb5 is one step below the top of a soprano's range. That is how ridiculous and rare Adam's range is. And it sounds good, too! If my memory is right we got 2 B5 from the raw recording material of Aftermath, somebody on youtube made an acoustic ver. with that. Not his best vocal quality but still the highest notes we have.

Are we going to get reviews? Or, since they've already played London earlier in the tour, are the formal print/other reviewers not likely to comment on tonight's epicness?? This show was off the charts. Every show surpasses the prior shows. How awesome Wembley--although not same as the outdoor venue (if it still exists) for Roger and Brian. I'm certain this was like the holy grail for Queen. What a gift for the fans, and surely reviews are to follow. Dare I say glowing reviews?? Got to be out of this world reviews.

Not his best vocal quality but still the highest notes we have. You are correct. I did not mention them because we were talking about notes sung live. On studio recordings we also have an A2 on Runnin' and possibly an E2, tho' we think that was digitally altered rather than sung naturally by Adam.
