Thanks for posting... Can anyone tell me what the reviewer was getting at here? "If there’s one failing, it’s that Lambert, while hugely impressive, fails to deliver the light and shade that allowed Mercury to connect with an audience." Does he mean "light and dark"? good question... also is there an implication that Adam did not connect with the audience? Or was this just an obligatory #FLD ?

www.bbc.com/news/live/entertainment-arts-31430677But he has his own solo album, The Original High, coming soon. "It's very different than the Queen music. It's definitely a pop album with a lot of R&B, house music influences. But the songwriting is timeless." But he says this doesn't spell the end for his Queen collaboration. " We have some other things we're going to be doing. It's not the end. It's just a pause button."

Damn! How perfect he is! 'fainting' Hi all! So good to be part of that finest fandom, I feel it again and again, even if I have very little time to actively participate right now (hope this post will show the pic, I'm on a new notebok and still a wary of it )

No I didn't see that the press didn't think Adam connected with the audience,,not at all. vulnerability.. well in my eyes Adam stepping out on that stage being judged by all the Freddie fans makes him plenty vulnerable... vulnerable when he says he's a fan of Freddie's in speech.. Press had to find something and that was it.. the review IMHO was Glowing and very complimentary. You know how when writing a review at work you have to find some room for improvement ,no matter how good the performance is ... well vulnerable was it for the Express.. no biggie. They even said he showed that side in two songs...
