brianmay.com/brian/brianssb/brianssbfeb15.html#42Seem Dr Bri wasn't feeling 100% during the concert tonight.. "It wasn’t the easiest night for me … for reasons to do with playing ‘at home’ - which can be stressful. And I felt I was less than 100 per cent focussed, no matter how hard I concentrated."After watching so many Wembley vids, I sure didn't notice that Brian was "off" or having trouble focusing. I think we should discuss why playing at home is difficult. I always got the feeling that Adam is very loose and happy when he's performing in his hometown of LA? Yes? No? Do you lose focus if you know there are friends/acquaintances/fellow musicians in the audience? Are expectations somehow higher and thus more stressful? ETA: I never know if it's okay to bring a quote over from Brian's site. Is it okay as long as we give credit and post the link? If not, then mods can delete!! Although this was not the Wembley outdoor site, due to Queen's history, Wembley is super-sized for them. So many good things happened at Wembley for them, that it had to create some nerves. Wembley was the site of Queen's biggest triumphs one being Live Aid. To come back so many years later had to be a dream come true, with a spectacular show and frontman. So very happy for them all, plus this is the end of this tour. Happiness and sadness at the same time.

Alright I need to ask ATOP a question: can somebody pleaseeee tell me what the FLD acronym stands for? It's just something I've never figured out in all my time following QAL. #FLD stands for Freddie Legal Disclaimer - is the gratuitous inclusion of Freddie superiority references that seem to always accompany articles even when not needed or warranted. Kind of like a legal disclaimer that pops up on stuff. Ah thank you so much! I knew it had something to do with whenever reviewers say "He's no Freddie, but..." Oh, and bamafan, house music is generally music played in nightclubs and is usually quite electronic-sounding.

Thanks Queenofthenight! Basically electronic dance music. So there will be upbeat dance tunes which is great...along with the ballads, etc. The R&B component has me interested as well.

www.bbc.com/news/live/entertainment-arts-31430677But he has his own solo album, The Original High, coming soon. "It's very different than the Queen music. It's definitely a pop album with a lot of R&B, house music influences. But the songwriting is timeless." But he says this doesn't spell the end for his Queen collaboration. "We have some other things we're going to be doing. It's not the end. It's just a pause button." "OTHER THINGS" - plural! I am ecstatic to hear this from the horses mouth! it's not "may be" or "we're thinking of" or "we'll see" rather it is an affirmative "OTHER THINGS WE"RE GOING TO BE DOING"!!!!

Damn! How perfect he is! 'fainting' Hi all! So good to be part of that finest fandom, I feel it again and again, even if I have very little time to actively participate right now (hope this post will show the pic, I'm on a new notebok and still a wary of it ) I am happy to see you here, JanuarySnow!

I'm also interested in the R&B component! I'm basically expecting a better version of Trespassing. Ugh just thinking about it makes me feel so happy inside. I might go into a coma by the time the album is actually here.
