Am I the only one who has no f'ing clue how to imagine the sound of:
pop, r&b, house, organic,
I am trying to wrap my brain around this and I am coming up completely empty.
Then you add these rather contradictory pre-listen media 'scoops':
sweet, massive ?
Besides being kind of contradictory, I am also not sure how to interpret these one-word-positive-yet-subdued statements.
Before TSP we got all this flailing from a few select publications, who were all praising TSP and Cuckoo, and then warning RCA to not pick the wrong singles, as if they had already heard what was going to come with RCA's choices. But in the process of this UK media review discussion in 2012, we actually got quite a bit of information.
Now we get one crumb each, and I feel we got nothing....nothing....
Well, I will try to forget about rock and ballads and vocals, right? And that is not exactly news for this album, just contradicts a few wishful thinking kind of statements we have heard occasionally.
Anybody can help me out what on earth to expect?
Wanna flail, but how am I supposed to do that, if I have nothing.
