Hey folks! I had to come and tell you I read a few of the responses from Adam fans to Monte Pittman and I couldn't stop laughing. So much Rebel Yell. I suppose if I look at the whole thing properly he was extremely rude, nasty, and crude in his language - and possibly some fans of Adam were too, I haven't looked comprehensively. So i shouldn't laugh, but some of those adam pictures and comments were very funny given that adam is so expressive. Adam is a Living Emoticon. When I sense into Monte I sense his vulnerability around the fact that he made a bad decision and betrayed Adam. And from the few facts I know (so this is tentative) it looked like he really did betray Adam. In my view, Adam loves people who are idealistic and bighearted and what he saw in Monte was an eyeopening shock. I think he walked away and I think Monte still carries the injury of his own actions. I mean: who wants to be seen as someone who betrays another person like that for some small gain? doesnt that suck in an artistic world? in any world? And his anger is being deflected to Adam fans but its some deep down anger - ok I hear he copped a lot of criticism from adam fans but i feel his reactivity and vulnerability and acting out comes ultimately from the fact that he is ashamed of himself. Also, he makes comments like "the man has an album to put out" etc and it rings false to me, in the face of his earlier apparent betrayal, which was a career thing. Its like he's trying to hard to show his support to Adam because what happened runs deep between them and papering it over on the surface…well redemption aint that easy! IMO, Monte felt just as betrayed by Adam as Adam felt betrayed by Monte for reasons stemming back to some of their pre-idol agreements. Just because most Glamberts only care about Adam's side of it, doesn't mean that there were not two sides to the story. The recent support Monte has been showing for Adam on twitter, and his tweet above, makes me think that they have talked it through and come to some sort mutual understanding. That might or might not be true. I'm pretty sure a twitter armageddon of these proportions will definitely do nothing to help that process... there is no way that Adam won't be aware of what was posted. Not a chance. Shosh probably has it screen capped. So either bug-a-lugs has some splainin to do or I suspect he can kiss their mature guy detente goodbye.

Monte is in London with Madonna for BRIT. Adam is in London too, doing promos for his 3rd album. Frankly I don't care if they have worked things out or whatever, only finger crossed for any chance of him to show up in this big showcase tonight.

I'm concentrating on the amazing success Adam and Queen's tour has had.. I can't get over how courageous Adam is .. to step into this band ,not knowing how he would be received by Queen fans and to give the greatest performances I have everheard by a lead singer in a rock band. MY focus is on Adam now and in the future.. Can't wait to hear his new music.. I would love for Brian to write songs with Adam.. just the perfect marriage of talent..

brianmay.com/brian/brianssb/brianssbfeb15.html#42Seem Dr Bri wasn't feeling 100% during the concert tonight.. "It wasn’t the easiest night for me … for reasons to do with playing ‘at home’ - which can be stressful. And I felt I was less than 100 per cent focussed, no matter how hard I concentrated."After watching so many Wembley vids, I sure didn't notice that Brian was "off" or having trouble focusing. I think we should discuss why playing at home is difficult. I always got the feeling that Adam is very loose and happy when he's performing in his hometown of LA? Yes? No? Do you lose focus if you know there are friends/acquaintances/fellow musicians in the audience? Are expectations somehow higher and thus more stressful? ETA: I never know if it's okay to bring a quote over from Brian's site. Is it okay as long as we give credit and post the link? If not, then mods can delete!! Brian is so fascinating in his willingness to share the good, the bad and the ugly. He doesn't hold back.

I found the above tweet while reading his whole feed from tonight. It was the only thing that I found interesting. And tweets in recent couple of months also seem to support that they have worked some things out. And I think it was the only important thing that was said, looking beyond the 'colourful' language and what may or may not have caused it. The real point to me is that what happened between them was private and that should have been the end of it. Fine for fans to discuss it amongst ourselves, if it's of interest. But our relationship with Adam, the man, is based on fantasy - we have no business commenting directly to people in his real life on things we know nothing about, or have to infer, at best. We weren't asked to, we weren't invited to. It seems obvious to me that doing so is the very definition of 'over-investment' and a loss of perspective. These are real people, living real lives that have absolutely nothing to do with us.
