Holy cow! Madonna is closing the Brits and her cape stayed tied to her throat when it was being taken off. She fell and it took them a while to disentangle her. She picked herself up and started singing again - it's live, that's for sure. Another pro.

OMG! Madonna couldn't get the cape undone totally and was pulled down the steps. YIKES!! Hope she is OK. Quite a fall!

I'm probably in the minority here, but why on earth do fans think they should have been saying *anything* to Monte? Over the last few days I saw someone trying to bury the hatchet with someone they used to have a very long working (and personal) relationship with. Then that person's fanbase says nasty things in response. Now, I *totally* disagree with how Monte handled it (and yeah, I think he may have been under the influence and shouldn't have been near social media). But why the hell were people poking Monte in the first place? What happened between Monte and Adam is between them. Both are grown men. Adam doesn't need external help in deciding how he should deal with people who *he* knows personally and we *do not*. Particularly if one or both parties are seeing if water can go under the proverbial bridge. That twitter shit that went down last night was completely unnecessary. If the fandom wants to gossip about things amongst itself - fine. But to start taking public potshots at the people in question and then wondering about the response is like kicking a hornets nest and getting shocked...SHOCKED that the hornets come out stinging. I personally think that anyone that RTed Monte and/or Adam over what started off a complementary gesture is an idiot and helped make everyone - the fandom and Monte both - look stupid. And how does that help anything? #rhetorical #washopingEra3wasgoingtostartonarelaxedbasis Amen!

That must have hurt! I wonder whether there is a count somewhere of singers falling down during awards shows. I think JLo fell the same night Adam fell. Crappy vid. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tk9UxjS43l8

I have Comcast and BRIT Awards are on the FUSE channel (250) tonight from 11:30 PM to 1:30 AM.I haven't found the itv channel. Thanks, I have comcast in Philadelphia and just want to say that Comcast has different channels in different regions. Also what you get in the channel package varies from state to state, but I will look for FUSE channel to see if I have it.

I watched the Brit Awards on and off all afternoon while keeping an eye on the weather...just 'cause Adam was there lol...I could see
Madonna having problems with her cape and I was just thinking ... guys, don't pull on it yet and then yank...that could have been a
really serious fall, esp on heels...she's a trouper...
